Smooth late check-in via the pub next door. Includes gated parking with key card access. Room was clean and spacious. It was everything we needed at a good price.

We would prefer not to have housekeeping make up the room during the stay, but there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign provided. The window of the attached bathroom had a large gap at the top of the glass pane (cannot be closed) that let cold drafts in. Bedding and towels smelled like bleach.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable- I almost always find motel/hotel beds too hard but it was great. Complimentary bottle of water, sufficient bathroom body wash/shampoo. It’s dated but clean and neat. Nice large towels too.

The rooms have grated vents in bathroom and door so there is little noise proofing. It’s not overly loud from the road or hotel but we were woken at 6am from a neighbouring room having a screaming domestic. Other than those two hot messes it was quiet despite being reasonably full. Small things like our no shower mat provided the second day and oddly the bottom sheet was too short from the bed which mean our feet touched the mattress protector which is a little icky.

Great room. Comfy sofa which is often missing in motel rooms. Bathroom was quite roomy. Plenty of hot water which on a cool night was certainly appreciated. Comfy bed. The buffet style dinner at the restaurant was pretty good. Guests get a 10% voucher for dinner plus a free drink per guest voucher. Great value for money and plenty of food to choose from.

There was not a lot of room for luggage. The motel is on sloped ground, so there were steps to negotiate for ground floor rooms, but they were not too difficult (recent knee surgery was reason for no steps) I’m glad I didn’t have a first floor room as those steps would have defeated me.

I liked how secure the car park and rooms were. I liked how you could park right outside your room. The room was massive and the bathroom was lovely. The location of the hotel is really ideal, so close to some great walks but also to the centre of Ferntree Gully.

The wifi was a little sketchy and the Smart TV didn’t connect to my phone.

Clean , very clean ! Staff very polite and willing to help if needed. Nice to have iron and board as well as a hair dryer. Plenty of towels and housekeeping were very helpful when asking for extra hair shampoo ,sugar etc.

The hot water is scolding that needs to be attended to as it will cause serious burns. I am aware of this as i have stayed several times before and know of this issue but first timers would not. So turning the hot water down to a safe level has not been addressed !!!🔥

Room was very tidy, clean and had everything we would need. The only problem was the beds rolled when you moved, fixed this by putting a pillow under the corner of the wheels. A very convenient location to the Dandenongs for walks and a trip away. Parking was secure and we felt safe behind the locked premises gates.

Being part of a pub, we thought it would be noisy but that wasn't the case at all. We got a great night's sleep even though we were there on the weekend. We also had NetFlicks in our room and that kept us entertained. The other good thing was the housekeeper came by on Sunday morning and asked if we needed anything. Our stay was much more pleasant than what we had anticipated when we booked.

We made a request several times prior to our arrival and got a very automated response quoting what was already on the booking site.

It was handy for what we needed to do

My sister had a fall due to a rise in a concrete driveway as we were making our way to the hotel for a drink. It wasn’t well lit. We went to report this in the morning but there was no one in the office. Just wanted to make you aware so it could be fixed. My sister tore the knee of her jeans and her leg was bleeding but she didn’t want to make a fuss

Spacious, well appointed room. Super comfy bed. Modern ensuite with rainshower head and great vanity lighting. Generous desk, ergonomic chair and reliable wifi, so would also suit the business traveller. I would highly recommend this motel. Staff were welcoming and check-in hassle free.

This was a beauty - a great room, secure parking, all clean and modern and in a top location just down the road from Puffing Billy! A nice smorgasbord meal just across at the hotel nearby too.

Was really all good. We were upstairs, but that was a small concession for the amazing room.
