This was my second stay here, Staff are super helpful and friendly, rooms are immaculate and well equipped with everything you need, even washer/dryer and dishwasher. Everything is brand new and to a high standard. Location is great and building is secure so you feel safe.

My ONLY issue is that for long stays there isn’t really enough storage for clothing as there’s only a rail with a few hangers. And I ended up having all my things folded at the bottom of that wardrobe. But it wasn’t a big deal. Maybe would be annoying if there was 2 people though!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Collingwood, Melbourne from Friday to Monday. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and modern design of the rooms. The bathroom was well-stocked with nice toiletries, and the room was equipped with new appliances. I was pleasantly surprised by the great kitchen setup, which I actually put to use during my stay. One of the highlights for me was the hotel's unbeatable location. Situated on Smith St, a cultural hub of the north side, the area was bursting with vibrancy. Countless food options and a plethora of fantastic bars made every mealtime and evening an adventure. Exploring the neighborhood was an absolute joy, and I felt like I was in the heart of the action. The staff provided excellent service and made me feel right at home throughout my stay. They were attentive to my needs and helped enhance my experience. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. In summary, clean and modern rooms, a vibrant location, and attentive staff made my stay truly enjoyable. I can't wait to return and experience it all over again.

If I had any minor suggestions for improvement, it would be to consider expanding the selection of dining options within the hotel itself, as the local area has so much to offer. Nonetheless, my stay exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Collingwood, Melbourne.

I give 5 stars to Veriu Collingwood Hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful! They made our stay and experience extra special. The location is perfect, just in the hotspot of trendy Fitzroy. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and the 86 tram that connect you to the whole city in less than a block away, which is very convenient to move around. The room was very clean, the bed, sheets and pillows were great. They have cool bikes for guests, too. This city is perfect to cruise around with bikes. I absolutely recommend this place. On my next trip to Melbourne, I will definitely stay there again.

Perfect location, laundry, oven and microwave + kettle made it feel like a living space instead of a sterile generic hotel room. Had a gym and pool but didn't use it but glad to know its there. Spoiled for choice for eateries and public transport options to the CBD are at your doorstep.

WiFi while it worked wasn't great, had issues watching videos in anything above 480P and trying to use the TV Apps to stream a video was a waste of time due to stuttering. I did a speed test and connect tested well but perhaps they are throttling video streaming?

Very clean and modern with stylish contemporary appeal. Large mattress was exceptional and a pleasure to end a busy day on! Staff both friendly & efficient upon check-in & departure. Room features were on point to provide a comfortable stay and allow for flexible cooking options. Roof top area looked very inviting but the weather prevented a swim in the gorgeous pool. Definitely recommend this property for short & long stays. Well done Veriu Group!

Would be absolutely perfect if there was a sauna to unwind in!

This property is obviously very new. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was small, but it suited our needs and there was a little outdoor balcony area. It is conveniently located in the heart of Collingwood. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. We were attending a wedding nearby so was perfect for us.

There wasn’t a lot to dislike about the property. There is limited parking so make sure you book in advance. Shampoo, condition and body wash was all supplied, however in our room the body wash was empty.

This is a new hotel with great transport and food options nearby. The rooftop terrace is a great place to have a cup of tea - but you will have to take it from your room, there is no service on the terrace. Bed was comfortable.

Very poor lighting in the bathroom - impossible for make up application! Nowhere to hang dresses as the hanging space only suitable for shirts and pants - I think this interior design was done by a man!! No full length mirror to check clothing etc.

This is a new apartment hotel with everything you need. The micro apartments are really well set up if you want to eat in your room. It is all spotless and comfortable and there is a nice little private outdoor patio, if the Melbourne weather permits. Handily situated just off Smith in Collingwood.

I suspect it will be quite expensive but there was a good deal going during their soft opening.

The property was very nicely presented, with great facilities. The room had everything we needed, was soundproof, and had a great courtyard/balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved the private hot tub with a view. The location was fantastic, with shops and restaurants nearby, as well as easy access to public transport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The bed was way too firm for our liking. However, I understand that people have different preferences.

Perfect location for a trip to Melbourne when you don’t want to stay in the CBD. Great cafes, bars and restaurants all within walking distance.

We were unable to connect to the internet in our room - could only connect in the foyer. We mentioned it to the staff who were very willing to help, but none of the suggested remedies worked. Not a big deal - just a bit frustrating.
