Our apartment was much bigger than I expected (on two floors) and had two bathrooms and a second (locked) bedroom since I had asked for a quiet room. The whole place was pretty quiet, anyway, and well soundproofed. It was centrally located, close to several tram routes but also within walking distance to the free city tram. There were also several great restaurants close by. There were laundry facilities (which we didn't need to use) and very friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was a comfortable one. It was super-clean, and the bed was comfortable. This place would be ideal for a family, especially for a longer stay than just the weekend.

The location of Comfort apartments is excellent and we were able to walk to the places we wanted to go. We were pleasantly surprised with our room being so spacious and spectacularly clean. Our beds were super comfy with crisp clean sheets. The staff were really helpful and kind when my mum had difficulty turning the heating on after hours.

There was some noise in the early hours of the morning from garbage trucks and people walking through the lane however, this did not impact us greatly. There were some cigarette butts in the garden at our room again this did not impact us we just had to pick them up so my children could play.

Located right across the road from the Melbourne exhibition center, walking distance to lots of great bars and restaurants, near the free tram into the city for shows and shopping. Large room with lots of space, carparking available. Clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Room was a little stuffy and unfortunately the aircon unit in one of the bedrooms did work, beds were on the hard side and it was a little noisy due to the make up on the complex.

Really comfy king size bed with great pillows and plenty of extra bedding for added warmth. There was a reverse cycle evaporative air con in both the bedroom and lounge room. A chromecast in the tv made streaming easy if needed. The kitchen was well appointed with a dishwasher, good size fridge, oven and microwave. Washer, dryer and hair dryer just topped everything off. Everything was clean and tidy. We were able to store our luggage on check out and return later to collect. Reception was very helpful.

The only thing that wasn't great was the weather, but that wasn't in control of the venue. LOL. So glad we had great heating. We weren't able to enjoy the outdoor area due to the weather, but it looked great.

I loved that our room literally had every.. washing machine, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, a great size fridge !! So many things would be perfect for a staycation or even just a week or two .. we obviously only stayed one night and loved our room. Even the staff were absolutely amazing !!

Unfortunately the large king bed was a little on the hard side with a spring mattress but we only stayed one night so was that was okay. The size of the bed was amazing my pregnant partner could really spread out and put her feet up.

I loved staying here. The location is excellent - just north of the CBD, in the scenic streets of Fitzroy. My room had a very pleasant outlook onto a side street, with an oblique view of Carlton Gardens and the Melbourne Museum. I liked the functional aesthetic of the apartment and it was spotlessly clean. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Brilliant location, very helpful & friendly staff- very clean. Had a problem with air-con in lounge area, it was noted and dealt with asap

Very echoey in hallway and because of self closing doors- very loud. Noise from neighbours easy to hear. Wi-Fi drops out in different rooms. Lack of cooking equipment ( small frying pan, oven trays)

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment, 2 rooms with queen beds, 2 bathrooms upstairs with living downstairs. Location was excellent, walking distance to buzzy Gertrude Street with excellent shopping, cafes, bars, restaurants and on the tram line. The pool was a bonus, with lovely gardens and a BBQ which allowed us to enjoy a BBQ get together with friends. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Our balcony had a lot of leaves and dirt and a good sweep would have been good.

That is the cleanest place I've stayed in a long time. I wish my home was that clean. The location was amazing - everything was within walking distance. The beauty of the park on one side and the vibrancy and character of Fitzroy on the other. The staff were efficient, friendly and welcoming. As a woman traveling alone, I felt really safe.

The location, staff and accommodation beautiful garden to relax with a coffee or drink was surprised how peaceful it was considering it's in busy Fitzroy. The staff were very helpful and kind with my situation with my husband having cancer treatment at st Vincent's nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely stay there again have spoken to a few friends about our great experience staying there.

I think next time I'll request a ground floor apartment my dickie knee doesn't like stairs but was still great
