We liked the view of the lake and everything we needed was onsite.ie. pool/restaurant and bar, or close by. Parking was convenient, and the room clean and comfortable. Temperature control made the room a relief from the outside heat and we could get a good nights' sleep.

We accumulated a lot of towels which we couldn't use. We had inadequate toilet paper for three adults. We would have liked some more instructions around the etiquette of the laundry i.e. can we move other peoples' washing/dried garments if the cycle is finished? And put it into what? rather than dump it on the bench.

We were really happy that the bed was so comfy & the pillows weren't too hard or lumpy. Really lovely & large bathroom. Enjoyed having the extra sitting room, couch & table to eat our room service breakfast on (which was also very enjoyable.) All the staff were super friendly & welcoming, from the cleaning staff, to restaurant staff & the reception staff. We would definitely stay there again if we traveled to or through Shepparton.

Would have loved an to stay an extra night actually, so we could see more of the local art, museum & a few more walks.

The Park Lake is very well positioned on the outskirts of the Shepparton CBD. The room was and surrounds were well appointed and well maintained. The room appears to have had a recent update with large TV with access to all stations. It is convenient to have an in-house restaurant, and we felt the food was of a high standard, albeit a tad expensive for the lunch we ordered.

We were asked for a $200 deposit as a security bond, although we had paid for the accommodation. We travel extensively and that was the first instance that we had been asked to do that. we have stayed at the Park Lake on a number of occasions previously and never been asked for a deposit - disappointing!! It was returned to our credit card the following day. we were in Shepparton to meet with friends for lunch and staying overnight, but discovered the restaurant was not open for dinner on Sunday night. Not a real issue as it was an easy walk to fast food facilities, although we would have preferred to have dined in at the Park Lalke.

Very easy to check in Room was clean and comfortable with a bath and very good light block out curtain. Very well located so I could walk to the IGA Supermarket to get a few things, view the Southern Hemisphere's largest concrete silo, view the bronze draught horse statue and listen to the recording of their history in the region, Lots of blossom trees and wattles were out, and it was a very pleasant place. The Manager was very helpful when someone tried to contact me but I did not have my phone.

The pool and spa being undercover was great but pool was very cold and spa very very hot

We looked forward to having a nice meal been there before a long time ago and remembered an excellent meal so was one of main reasons why we booked there but was very disappointed with the entree’s that we didn’t even order any more food, we were intending on buying breakfast there too but didn’t because of the quality of food we received very ordinary.

Room was very nice. Clean. Great central location. Parking easy.

The staff weren't overly friendly at times or flexible to check out needs (a number of people staying there were competing in the marathon, which meant we weren't able to be back for a 10am checkout). Was difficult to arrange a moderate 1-1.5 hour extension. Eventually allowed this which was helpful. The spa was lukewarm at best. Potentially increasing the temperature to make it more enjoyable. The pool had no heating. Freezing.

Overall a very positive experience here. Big points to having power points in easy to reach areas, especially on the bedside tables which were decent in size. Bed was comfortable, good tv, plenty of cupboard space, roomy shower with independent fan control.

Very minor things, the parking was very tight due to the obscene amount of large SUVs and utes. I'd love to see room allocated parking or dedicated 4x4 area. The bathroom lacked a towel hook for the hand towel and I'd love to see a hook for bathroom bags. The handle on the door was loose so I couldn't use this.

The leisure facilities were fabulous. The sauna, the pool and spa were a great bonus after a long trip and a great way to unwind. Very friendly staff and staff and overall the property was well kept and clean.

While it’s very convenient to be able to park outside your room, it can be really noisy if people are checking in late. I was woken up just after midnight with a big Ute reversing into a park. So noisy!

The hotel is nicely located close to the CBD and has an excellent restaurant that is also popular with the locals. The room is spacious and has a fine bathroom. Will certainly stay again next time we are in Shepparton.

The room had a peculiar smell when we first arrived and a lack of dedicated parking space outside the room was a bit frustrating in wet weather, but we got one 3-4 rooms down.

Very clean rooms with nice warm and comfortable beds, good heating. Love the spa and sauna.

Reception was completely closed on Sunday, even during its usual open hours, as the carpets were being cleaned. We were a large group and needed more provisions for the room and couldn't get them. Indoor pool was much colder than other times that we have stayed.
