The property was in the best location possible. You were virtually in the middle of town a quick walk up the hill and you were there. The beds were comfortable it was very clean. The woman who manages/owns the property won't put up with any shenanigans. If you're caught smoking on the balcony or making excessive noise at night it will be stopped. We did have one night where that happened, we managed it ourselves but good to know there's back up if required. Fantastic shower and lots of hot water.

The rooms are a little dark if it wasn't for the balcony doors there would be hardly any light. But the balcony doors are a real asset. The rooms are small for 3 people. There was two of us which was fine but with 3 it would be a bit tight. Flushing the toilet wasn't very powerful. None of these things would stop me staying again.

Centrally located with off street parking, this is my go-to accomodation in Beechworth. Beds are super comfortable, with electric blankets and the best doonah ever! Top winter tip, use the wall panel heater rather than the reverse cycle aircon, much more effective. There is a pool and bbq on-site and all rooms are non smoking. Great amenities in room, microwave, fridge and kettle. Excellent blockout curtains. Hint: there is a set of stairs at the rear of the car park that go down to the stream that runs at the back, sooooo pretty.

The location of the property is excellent. It is on the main street next to the shopping center. The room was very clean and presented well. Plenty of room to move around. The single beds were a little uncomfortable. Plenty of pillows. Plenty of tea and coffee available. The heater was turned on in our room before we arrived so our room was toasty. Electric blankets were provided. I liked that we were able to back the car up to the room door to unload the bags.

Unfortunately, our view was of the car park. There was a little bit of mold growing in the bathroom above the shower due to poor ventilation.

Dedicated parking spot right outside ground floor room, spacious facilities, clean, updated, air-con, well-placed TV, great shower, good lighting in bathroom, quiet location, efficient management, early checkout available, local information readily available.

Size of fridge (way too small), appropriate space for using kettle and toaster -- had to move from main room shelf where stored to bathroom in order to avoid risk of damaging shelf above with steam and to see how the toaster was working. That's all!

Proximity to all the facilities in Beechworth. One of the best hotel/eating places was a dew doors away and the motel staff were knowledgible about all the worthwhile restaurants and where there was excellent live entertainment during the meal.

Not aware of anything that could have been better. The staff were very approachable and knowledgeable about the town and businesses, including which businesses were for sale, and which had recently failed to sell - and why.

We had a room overlooking the courtyard and tall trees where birds could be observed in the morning. The Inn is a stone's throw from the center of Beechworth. Despite the hustle and bustle in the village (Biennale 2024) during our stay, very quiet. Comfortable room, and friendly helpful staff. Interesting photos and posters about the life of Ned Kelly on the walls in the hallways and in the room.

Our second visit to Beechworth and our second stay at the Armour Motel. The best location in town! A shirt stroll to everything the staff and very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are large and an older style but very clean and comfortable. We will be back! Billsons brewery is a must visit (good for lunch too) and dinner at Isabella’s was fabulous. Both of these are walking distance from the motel. Beechworth bakery is very close the the motel snd awesome too

The property was very nice, well located, I booked it purposely for the pool and we enjoyed time in the pool

When I went to have a shower last in the evening I noticed that the grout between the tiles and the ceiling had quite a lot of mould growing on it. I know they would need a very tall person or someone on a step or ladder to clean this but it really should be done. I would expect a place like this to have immaculate showers and I was a bit disappointed at seeing this (room 3)

Great location just off the town centre and handy to the famous bakery. Clean and modern rooms. Friendly staff

Dark coloured bricks made the interior feel a bit dark. Windowless bathroom meant the light was always needed which in turn was linked to the loud fan. This made it noisy at night in the twin room which had one of the beds right next to the bathroom. A suggestion would be to give the fan a separate switch so it can be left off if visiting the bathroom during the night.

The inn is located very close to the Main Street so it’s only a short walking distance away from the shops and restaurants. The room was bigger than expected and very cosy. Wish we stayed one more night to enjoy the beautiful town of Beechworth.

Our room was facing the main road so you could hear the occasional traffic noise but luckily it’s pretty quiet during bedtime. The bathroom fan is a bit loud but this is a minor issue.
