Large well equipped apartment set in gardens. A bit old fashioned and in need of a refurb, but clean, well maintained and has all you need. There is a guest laundry too which is handy. There is a small pool but you also get to use the larger pool at Moonlight Bay Suites (part of the same complex and where reception/check-in is) which is lovely. Use of a very well equipped gym also at Moonlight - the best I've come across in my 2 months in Australia - a really great facility with good quality running machines and a full weights rack - and aircon!  Reception staff are all lovely and very helpful - a real credit to the place. Town bus stop close by. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The only downside I can think of is it's a 15 min walk into town, which might be an issue if you're not mobile and don't have a car, but the stop for the town bus is also close by.

Very comfortable apartment. Spacious rooms. Very good air conditioning and fans. Kitchen with modern stove and microwave. The building is older style but in good condition. The location is reasonably quiet and the property is secured by boundary fencing and keyed gates. Within walking distance to Chinatown. Bus stops Very close by too.

The bathroom is dated and would benefit from some maintenance. The shower curtain is too short which allows water to escape and wetting the floor. Otherwise functional.

Didn’t request for breakfast. Location is excellent. Your reception at Moonlight Bay stayed a little longer for my arrival, and showed me the way to Bayside. Being first time to Broome, travelling alone, and at 7pm it is completely dark, getting the hotel key from a lock box i can imagine it would be very difficult for me to find the way to Bayside with the luggage etc, esp there was no one around to ask for direction. So your reception at Moonlight suite is very helpful.

Thank you for the upgrade to Moonlight Bay Suites - was not expecting that. I needed some help getting my case up the multiple flights of stairs to my new room but staff was very obliging. Absolutely loved being able to store luggage and use the guest room after checking out - meant I could really enjoy the extra time I had available before flying home. Location so close to Broome Explorer bus stop was an added bonus - I made good use of that bus!

Getting up and down the stairs was a bit difficult, but that was just my dodgy knee- no fault of the establishment

I read reviews pretty closely on this property before booking. I’d agree that it’s past time for some cosmetic work in the rooms, however it was set in a convenient location if you aren’t set on Cable Beach. The Broome Explorer bus is quite close and convenient. The pool was adequate for the number of rooms and clean. Perhaps a few more pool amenities (tables and chairs) than just lounges would make the space more inviting and usable. At current level of care, it seemed somewhat overpriced this early in the season. That said, I enjoyed my stay.

Very clean

The blind broke overnight and hit me on the head. It was repair promptly but there was no follow up by management and when I questioned that it was disregarded as nothing much. Eventually when I pushed it I begrudgingly got a free meal ticket but I should have had that one night accommodation refunded as it wasn’t a safe place to sleep n I had a pump on my head and I was basically told tough luck.

We had finished a tour and decided to stay on a few days to see Broome We walked to Moonlight Bay Suites to leave our luggage till our accommodation was ready. Lovely Laura got in touch with us in just a couple of hours to say it was ready. We stayed close enough by to again just walk to it . Comfortable , clean , yes a little dated , but it had everything you could need for a lovely stay. Great A/C , big frig , clean laundry facilities , with a clothes horse to use . Sliding door to sit outside if you chose or wanted to dry your clothes . Beautiful swimming pool , towels provided and heaps of pool lounges . Felt very safe there to , keys needed for the gate into the grounds, laundry and apartments (chains to inside ) The apartments were a short walk to the town beach, amazing jetty to see the sunrise and where they have the market . A little supermarket , liquor shop and delicious take away Italian place . You just have to be aware these places close earlier than we were use to . The bus that takes you around Broome had a pick up , drop off stop across from us to. Matso Brewery was handing to grab a bit of takeaway or have a drink and snack. We were given a little voucher to use there , which was a lovely , unexpected gesture , much appreciated but. We also arranged to get a taxi from the reception to go to the airport , no trouble at all, the staff were all lovely

Absolutely Nothing

A well set out place with the pool central to the layout. The apartment was spacious and clean, bed and bathrooms all well maintained Security gate to come and go for vehicles and pedestrians Free laundry Matso's across the road

Midges (sandflies), they're in the grass area by the pool - be careful to cover up

Access to bus and main areas in Broome, in particular Coles to get supplies. Pick up from Moonlight was 5 mins away for tours. Walk pulling bag to Bayside along gravel road was OK. Spacious room looking towards open park and mangroves/sea. Deep pool with some shade at times.

Midges put me off doing all the regular swimming I was planning to do - but did more walks/bus explores and trips. Gate had gremlins. Would open 2/3 times then the lock not work and have to go to car gate, reception. Gave up on reception and had to just run with the idiosyncracy. Most annoying. Tv not working first 2 days but given a new one. Microwave not working for me or 2 service people. Got multiples of 30 sec if held start. Clock went once I requested battery.

Clean apartments with everything you need in them, well located for access to China Town (we walked in regularly) and Matsos. Nice grassy grounds, fully fenced so good for young kiddos. Bed was comfy, no noise from Matsos even during the weekend. After hours check in worked well, cleaning staff were absolutely lovely.

No shade over the pool was a bit of a bummer, lights near BBQ didn’t work so our dinner BBQ was a bit of a fail given sunset is at 5:30. Apartments could do with a bit of a spruce up - old aircon units very loud, bed lamp didn’t work, power cords pretty shoddy and bunched at floor (ie baby/toddler grabbing) height, art work super depressing, random nails sticking out of wall etc... A little love could go a long way!
