Moonlight Bay Suites

Well located hotel that is just a 15 minute walk to Chinatown which has many attractions, cafe's and restaurants. Bus stop is just a minutes walk from the hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very clean and spacious with cooking facilities (cooktop, microwave and fridge).

No negatives in relation to staying at Moonlight Bay Suites with the exception that if staying close to Cable Beach is a priority then you would need to look at other options. However getting to Cable Beach by bus is no more than 15 minutes by the Broome Explorer Bus which runs every half hour.

Great helpful staff . It was great to use the Guest facilities before we could actually get into our room. Spacious unit , well equipped. Bath tub !! House keeping staff and reception staff were fantastic !! We loved the location ... easy walking distance right to the Township and left to Town Beach and gorgeous Roebuck Bay, oh and the view and drinks at The Mangrove Hotel , not to mention across the road from Matso's and Black Stump Gallery..

We booked a loooooong way ahead of time but were given a unit with less then exciting view .. The units are tired ... clean and tidy but .. noisy fridge and noisy AC ....

Our room had a great view of the mangroves and the pool. Absolutely lovely. Our family and friends also had nice views no matter where they were situated.

There was a lot of older aged people which made enjoying a bbq and drinks with friends and family (as we all travelled together) on a beautiful Broome night hard. They complained about the smallest of things. Our group consisted of grandparents and children ourselves, so it was disheartening considering the Mangrove across the road was a local attraction for music and night life, which did not affect us we enjoyed it.

Loved the location. Easy walk to China Town and Town Beach. Opposite Matso's. Loved our very clean and spacious suite with full cooking facilities. Loved the staff who were always friendly and helpful. Loved the guest room for use on check out day. Loved that the Explorer Bus stopped nearby.

The pool was beautiful but we weren't too keen on the very cold water in the pool. Solar heating would be a worthwhile addition. Wasn't happy about getting midgy bites near the end of our stay when I was reading by the pool

We had an apartment that was clean, spacious and had a view to the sea. The local bus stopped nearby and this was a convenient way to explore Broome. The hotel is close to Matsoes Brewery and Restaurant, which is great for a drink and a meal.

When I booked direct online with Moonlight Bay Suites 6 months before staying there, the only apartments available were 2 bedroom apartments. All the studio units and single bedroom apartments seemed to be bulk booked by tour companies and travel agents. The rate was for 4 people, although we only used the double bedroom. If the second bedroom is locked and the rate reduced, it would be more fair. Although we were offered the use of facilities before our afternoon flight, there was only a very small lounge or the pool area, no food or coffee available. We opted to go straight to the airport at 10am after checking out with our bags. Apart from the area near the check-ins, the airport was closed until midday! Not really catering to tourists at all.

The location was perfect, with views, and pool as described. Room was much nicer than I expected, and lobby area perfect for meeting up outside the rooms. The reception staff was always helpful and friendly. Slept well. The location has great views from inside and outside the rooms. Very appealing.

Getting luggage to and from room was difficult bc there was no elevator, and no easy way to transport except up and down steps. All access was from outside steps, which had a sign that said they were slippery. I did not slip, and didn't notice that they were slippery, but it's good to forwarn guests anyhow. I did not get the box breakfast, which cost $12AUS, but friends who did said muffins/bread was a bit dried out and they regretted getting it.

I would highly recommend this location - the suite was quiet, clean and well appointed - the pool area was beautiful and well kept with outstanding views of the ocean - a very pleasing location all round

I requested a late check out which was approved by staff on the Saturday before check out on the Monday - however on Monday morning the front desk reneged on this request which was disappointing as I had already been told I could have a late check out at 11am

Location was great and views great. Very spacious apartment in both sitting room area/ dining and in bedrooms. Kitchen well appointed with lots of pans. High chair and cot were great.

Balcony railings not suitable for young children as they can easily climb though. Also big drop off the grasses area so not suitable for playing ball or for young children running around.

The suite was roomy and tidy and had all basic essentials. It was very close to the pool, which was ideal for us with a child. The view to the ocean was beautiful, very relaxing and great to enjoy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again any time.

We could have done with a little more kitchen equipment - such as a pizza tray. A bit more information about getting around Broome and a complimentary map would have been helpful.

We had an amazing view from our room, very clean room with room service daily. The convenience of the pool location from our room was amazing. Plenty of room for the 4 of us in the apartment. Very great location to get to Matsos and out to town

I don't think there could have been much better about this accommodation. Apart from the noises from the tradesmen that went on Monday morning, but we knew this was going to happen so we were aware
