Mantra Frangipani Broome

Slightly out of Broome and very private and quiet - which is exactly what we like. Beautiful spacious unit with delightful outdoor private shower complete with a large stone Buddha and a real live green frog. Fantastic swimming pool and relaxing area. We had no car but got around on foot and by the local bus easily - and the bus stop was right outside our hotel complex. Walking distance to magnificent Cable Beach, Millie cafe, and a couple of relaxed pubs. Many tour operators will collect guests from hotels in the Cable Beach area, which made touring without a car quite easy. Would definitely stay in Mantra Frangipani, Broome again.

A small issue, but would have liked more hooks inside to hang damp bath towels on.

Grounds are generally quiet, plenty of walkways and garden - not slotted in apartment style! Really enjoyed the outdoor shower, plus being able to use the pool after checkout and have access to towels and a shower was a real bonus and was a nice end to our holiday.

Maybe a small shop for basics or even a cafe in the future would be a welcome addition. Bit of a trek for your morning coffee or basic food needs at the moment.

This was our second time at Mantra Frangipani. The location and the outside shower are the reasons we returned. It is located close to Cable Beach and there are some restaurants and cafés nearby. The pool is pleasant to go in after a hot day to cool down. There is also a smaller pool.

These are just suggestions to improve. We liked our stay very much! Pool hours should start earlier in the morning. No cafe or restaurant at location. Some chalets are overhauled but the majority are still the older ones and hopefully will be next.

The staff were the best! I made a few calls beforehand, to find out plan of action, including cancellation policy, if cyclone hit (that luckily didn't eventuate) and was reassured. The lovely lady at the front desk was very concerned and accommodating when we had a problem. She was also very apologetic that one of the two pools was out of action at the time; I didn't find this a bother. The cleaning staff were friendly and smiling. The apartment itself was fantastic and I couldn't fault anything. It was large, and had every facility you could possibly need. The bed was comfortable, and to someone who is fussy about pillows- these ones got 10/10 Loved the outdoor shower! Also appreciated was the free cool filtered water at reception, so you don't have to keep buying plastic bottles. The Broome Explorer bus stop is just outside the front gate. What a great stay!

Nice setting. Quiet and relaxing. Apartment had everything we needed. Air con was a god send in the wet season! Outdoor shower was a novelty.

Pictures on booking.com show the property as new condition which wasn’t exactly the case on arrival. Not a big deal but perhaps either updated photos or a bit of maintenance might be an idea. The only other thing that couldn’t be helped due to time of year was that the pools were closed for a day and a half as there were heaps of frogs in them. This was rectified and we were then able to swim.

the location was great, good facilities like swimming pools. the room design and layout was fantastic.

my booking included breakfast but they only offered prepacked breakfast packages. there was no vegetarian options neither for breakfast nor for meals. for the price they charge I think they could offer continental breakfast for the customers.

Spacious room with great facilities like the washing machine and 2 drying racks. Quiet & relaxing no traffic surrounding. The outdoor shower is lush! Plenty of car parking close to our room.

The staff we had contact with weren’t friendly or welcoming. Our room was not ready for us to move into until 5:30pm day of check in. The check in was poorly communicated to us. Totally understand the staff shortage that is happening globally at the moment but prior to our check in this could have been communicated to us in a friendly and clear manner. Disappointed as the lady was not apologetic. Especially considering how much we paid to stay here $$$

Very impressed with the outdoor pool and also the outdoor shower in our apartment.

The first apartment that we were offered was in a terrible state however, after complaining to the management, we received another apartment, which was delightful. please advise future bookings to check the room prior to accepting the accommodation.

The unit was larger than I thought it would be and very comfortable ,especially the bed. The unit had everything you needed to have a great stay included cooking facilities, cutlery and glassware and cooking utensils. If you wanted you could have a family bbq with the bbq provided. The gardens surrounding the unit were tropical and restful. Will definitely be back to stay longer.

Good spit, few pools, nice garden, like the bunglaow type bali accommodation, flat entry, outsode area overlooking pool. Great reception staff. Love the outdoor shower.

Had an accessible type room with low basin and was not functional for standing up as there was nonwhere like a bathroom vanity to put your dryer or bags. Great to have a wash machine in room but wash dryers take sooo long and quite noisy.
