The only property at the area, felt so private and secluded from busy Innsbruck city. Chef Hans hospitality is excellent, we felt welcome and at home. Breakfast is amazing, they provided us salmon and boiled eggs for halal food. Chef also provided us Innabruck card for public transport. Christmas decoration is amazing, felt lucky to stay in the historical building. I've shared photo of hotel from bus stop, very nearby.

There is one time, we forgot to tell bus driver our destination, he skipped the Patschy Grunwalderhof bus stop. On the next time we always told the bus drivers and there were no problem.

Location of hotel is great - bus stops right outside the door and buses going into Innsbruck stop at the cable car just down the road (not on the way back). Bus goes to and from the railway station too. 20 minutes max into Innsbruck, and free if you qualify for the Visitors Card. Great views and if the weather is good wonderful terrace outside to enjoy the great food. This is an old fashioned hotel - some might say quirky - which we loved. If you want Holiday Inn style facilities this is not the place for you! The staff were all great and the food was really good - perhaps could complain that too much sometimes! We found the morning breakfast buffet was fresh and very adequate for us.

Due to the old fashioned layout of the hotel you do tend to know when the kitchen is operating - just makes you hungry! and choose your room carefully!

I recently stayed at a charming hotel near Innsbruck, Austria, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel's location is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The interior, with its rich history spanning over 500 years, transports you back in time, giving you a sense of strolling through history. The staff were exceptionally kind and friendly, always greeting guests with smiles and warmth. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-organized. The walls in both the rooms and common areas are adorned with historical photographs of Austria, which add a delightful touch and enhance the overall experience. The reception staff were very helpful in guiding us to explore the beautiful surroundings. Following their recommendations led us to stunning views that felt like paradise. The hotel boasts a dreamlike ambiance with a superbly beautiful backyard where you can leave all your stress behind. The picturesque pond with marsh plants, the wooden hotel façade, the beautiful trees in the garden, a small play area for children, grazing cows, and the towering mountains create a truly enchanting atmosphere. Breakfast was served in a delightful setting with an almost perfect selection. The restaurant manager was exceptionally kind and professional, ensuring that all guests were well taken care of without any discomfort. I highly recommend trying the Kaiserschmarrn, a traditional Austrian dish that is prepared to perfection at this restaurant. The chef, Hansjörg Ribis, is not only a professional but also incredibly friendly. My daughters requested Kaiserschmarrn, and within ten minutes, he personally served it to them, creating a memorable and friendly experience for us. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, although it was unfortunately too short. I definitely plan to return for a longer stay in the future.

We had booked two rooms. It would have been better if these two rooms were next to each other. However, I understand that it was a bit difficult because of the summer holidays.

The staff were amazing, very welcoming and friendly. The manager Hansjörg was so kind and genuinely interested in us. He took some lovely pictures of us when we met up on a walk. The setting is spectacular and the restaurant was so lovely we ate all our meals there. There was a bus stop right outside & with the welcome card we could get around easily. Very happy with our stay would highly recommend this little piece of paradise.

This place is fascination, there are so many interesting things throughout the property that you could spend all day just exploring them. The historic artifacts were amazing. The room was clean and comfortable and the property provided parking. The breakfast was nice as well.

There was nothing really that we did not like but the added ensuite was interesting, the way it was done

Nostalgia, very nice location, perfect view. Delicious breakfast. Staff are very friendly. Very close and free parking space.

Pillows were not comfortable, toilet ventilation doesn’t work, there is no boiler in the room. I don’t know if it is good thing or bad but dining room were so quiet, it felt weird though :) .

Everything was wonderful...the setting is beautiful...the staff and management were polite and helpful...dinner on both nights was delicious....our two night stay was very restful and peaceful...beautiful walks beside the hotel which has real old world charm...we will most definitely be back...

Location wise it’s perfect, on top of a mountain and overlooks the alps, restating is good! Staff were friendly. Also offered us welcome plus card which offers free public transport within the city and the bus stop is right outside the hotel.

The breakfast is very limited and without much options or warm food

Very nice location with a beautiful mountain view. The "welcome card" provided by the hotel is quite useful. Although the facilities are not new, they have a vintage style. The owner told us that the history of the hotel is more than 600 years.

We have really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect - a location, a traditional Austrian style house, welcoming personal, good food. Many people have complained about an old fashion bathrooms. But I find that it rather fits to the old traditional interiors of the house. And it did not bother me because everything was functioning and clean. Location was fantastic - we were 2 minutes drive away from the ski slope and had a beautiful view from the terrace.
