The hotel was so pretty..gorgeous reception and lounge with log fire and deep leather armchairs and sofas..perfect spa with lots of seating....our rooms were stunning(our room perhaps did need an extra wardrobe or set of drawers because we were there for the week) There was some room renovation going on but it didn't bother us in the slightest..there was plenty for breakfast and tasty traditional dishes in restaurant.An excellent hotel

Hotel was excellent but walkable cable car station is now defunct so 10 minuite bus ride is required. Cable car is still featured as working on maps!

I liked the view from my room. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to have a quiet morning overlooking the mountains. The rooms are spacious and the balconies are spacious too. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and I would like to recommend everyone visiting Innsbruck to stay at the hotel for an amazing morning view.

Booking.com charged me more for a room without breakfast whereas the price at the hotel was less for a night including breakfast. I extended my stay and was not happy with the price offered by Booking.com for a room without breakfast.

A lovely old hotel in the center of a tiny adorable village of Igls near Innsbruck. Beautifully designed combining old and new. We came by car but there's a direct bus to the center of Innsbruck that stops right at the hotel doors. Nice and friendly staff, very good breakfast, warm pool (ideal for small kids), sauna and fitness centre. Outside there's a very good ice cream place with Tomaselli ice cream and a fantastic pizza (Venezia) - super quality; Right next to it there's a beautiful Kurpark Igls, perfect for a walk and with nice playground for kids.

The Wi-Fi was very weak, we couldn't use it in the room, only on the corridor or downstairs in the main area. The sauna is open only between 4-8pm which is really short time. There was no water or coffee / tea making facilities in the room even though in the hotel folder it was written they are available - I called the reception and they told me they don't offer it in the rooms - imo it's a standard and bare minimum. There was sparkling water available but extremely expensive.

I stayed in a superior double room, 308. • Spacious, clean room. Comfy bed, lovely soft pillows. Excellent value for money in this regard. • Truly beautiful interior, nice quiet location • INCREDIBLE view of the mountains, a joy to wake up to. Nice balcony, but couldn’t use it much (see below). • Reception staff were impeccable. Polite, smiley and willing to help. • Spa facilities always quiet and pretty to look at. • Hot water plentiful, large bath.

• The cleaners ignored the ‘do not disturb’ sign and walked into the room twice. BIG issue for me. • Not the hotel’s fault, but building/maintenance work outside was very disruptive for 2/4 of the days, offensive noise and smell. Be aware there will also be relentless church bells, but I found those endearing personally! • Lacklustre breakfast - repetitive, sad and greasy. Nice if you like bread and raw salmon. • Hairdryer kept turning itself off. • The corridor seemed to be treated as a race track for a particularly noisy, screechy child…

Amazing balcony and the view. Very friendly staff. rich breakfast. It has its own private parking that is located a bit down the street. Coffee machine in the room. Bathroom was super clean and new. There is swimming place not far away from the hotel. Thought location is good cause it’s in center of the village/town, there was some minuses.

Not directly on the hotel, but it’s located in the center of the village/town and in front of some bar that is really noisy on Fridays. In the hotel there were new rooms, however our room was not super new and need some cosmetic touch.

Lovely room, lovely pool and spa, on the free bus route to the slopes 5mins or into Innsbruck 15 mins, lovely buffet breakfast. Very short taxi transfer from airport of just 15mins. Queue of taxis waiting at airport for every plane. We got a mini bus taxi for 7 of us and it cost E27. Sporthotel is the centre piece of the village! Perfect for a short family skiing holiday for kids learning to ski. Great for mums and dads shooting off for a few testing runs. Lets not forget Olympics were held here for skiing, bobsleighing and ski jumping!

The room's interior design is very nice. The view from the balcony was amazing. There is a coffe machine and capsules in the room. Private parking is available behind the hotel (first you need to check in, the card for the room opens then the gate). The wellness ( a small pool and a sauna with showers and a chill room) is free of charge, very cosy and open until 21:00.

The restaurant should be avoided. Unprofessional and slow service, poor food and overpriced, You can find much better nearby.

I loved the hotel! My room was spacious, actually there were 2 separated rooms, super comfy bed and pillows, amazing view to the mountains from balcony. Design was a very cozy, home-style, I didn´t feel like I´m in the hotel. Staff is super kind, helpful and efficient. Nice sauna and swimming pool to relax after exciting day of sightseeing. Great communication with Innsbruck`s heart of the city - about 15 min by bus with each 10 minuts frequency. I had very short stay and usually went to Innsbruck, but to the other direction from the hotel and around there a lot of natural beauty to explore. Would definitely come back again.

Everything was great,

A spacious, clean room. The hotel is located in Igls, a picturesque village just south of Innsbruck. Very close to the Patscherkofelbahn cable car. The village is also well connected to Innsbruck's city center and the train station (by bus).

I was unhappy with the water temperature and water pressure in the bathroom. It seems a small thing to point out, but it was very annoying that the water was too hot and there was not enough water pressure to properly wash one's hair.

The room is very new, compare to most of the hotels I have stayed in Austria. Parking is east and convenient. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not that I don't like. but the restaurant is a bit exclusive. I booked the room during my road trip and needed to make a stop (i.e., this stay is not expected). It was in the evening and I am hungry after driving all day. There are not much options at that hours (7pm I think), so I went down to a restaurant, only the staff told me I need to reserve a table, but he can make an exception for me... I didn't really plan this and how could I know I need a table there.
