I happened to book this property while on a road trip in Austria in March. Kinda hit a sweet spot with this property. The communication from the property (Mr Klaus) was prompt and precise at all times. I say this because my arrival times were uncertain and I had a very late check-in. Yet it was easy to get in touch with the property and get a nicely detailed written revert from them at all times. It just makes your life easier as a road tripper. The best thing - The views from the property were outstanding. Amazing panoramic views of Innsbruck and the towering snow mountains. Aldrans is a lovely, quiet village perched up a hill above the hustle-bustle of Innsbruck. As a guest of the Aldranser Hof you get a 'welcome card' that permits free use of public transport all the way to Innsbruck city center. There is a beautiful church and a cattle shed next to the property. Really gets you the feel of European countryside, while keeping you in 15 mins proximity from the city. There are two bus routes that are a mere 2 mins walk from the hotel premises. Parking at the property is free. The interiors of this lovely property are something to adore. Rooms as well as common areas are cozy, artistic and representative of vintage. Perfect for a snowy winter times. Morning breakfasts were decent and were nicely laid. Lastly, Mr Klaus, who was in-charge of operations when I stayed here, was very nice and warm. He provided me with valuable suggestions on local transit tips and ski options in Tirol. It just elevated my travel experience.

Very kind and nice staff who offered great service. Beautiful view over the city and the northern mountains. The atmosphere in Aldrans was perfect after a day in the busy citry centre. It was a nice bonus that the hotel had a common kitchen with a fridge, cutlery and a vending machine. It was super easy to take the bus nearby using the welcome card.

The bread and pastry in the breakfeast buffet was a bit dry, but otherwise the breakfast was nice. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is closed in the summer.

We loved the swimming pool. It was really nice to go for a swim every afternoon, after we returned from the day's activities. And the swimming pool is completely refurbished and the saunas looked very inviting. But it was summer, so we didn't feel like using the sauna. The breakfast was ok, I'd give it an 8/10. You get a good selection of things to put on your bread. Our daughter especially loved boiling eggs for everybody. What we missed was anything that isn't meant to be eaten with bread. The whole house was very nice and the staff friendly, although they weren't around most of the time. Oh, and there are horses all around the establishment.

The reception was mostly closed. Luckily, we had no problems, but if we did have them, I have no clue how to call them. We met a person, who wanted to check-in, but was waiting for 20 minutes, alone, in the reception area, asking every guest, who passed them by if they know how to get in touch with the reception. No member of the staff was anywhere near, the only public telephone number was for the reception phone, which was ringing next to us. I had no idea, how to help, where to go to get a staff member. There are practically no restaurants around here, except one so-so restaurant. The hotel used to have its own restaurant, but it's closed now. This put us in a pickle on our first day, when we arrived at 7 PM and then didn't really know where to get food from.

Good place to leave the car and explore Innsbruck by public transport. The trip to the downtown took about 30min and EUR 5.60 for two persons. The concert in the Castle of Ambras ended at 10 p.m. and we still caught the bus back to the Aldranser Hof. Convenient room, fully equipped bathroom with shower gel and shampoo. Large parking space. Very good breakfast, not continental style. Several options to have lunch or dinner outside the Aldranser Hof. Friendly receptionist, gives all necessary information about transportation etc. Lots of tourist information available at reception.

We didn't get the iron to prepare our clothes, that's the only negative impression.

Great traditional budget friendly hotel just 10 minutes from the Innsbruck city center. They have the best customer service and were very kind and cooperative to us since we had to delay our arrival due to our child getting sick. Our room had a great view and was quite spacious. Good breakfast, classic hotel (not so good) coffee.

The light above the bathroom sink was blinking (they would probably fix it if we wanted, but we stayed for only two nights and were spending minimal time in our room). Everything else was great,

A nice and quiet local style hotel. Great view over Innsbruck valley with horses on the nearby field. All the necessary hiking trails/lifts/shops/cafees are in a close distance. Also it has a small pool with outdoor terrace that is very refreshing after hike. We were with our 2 years old daughter and found a very handy to have a shared kitchen with microwave oven and kettle Try local Jogurt and juice in the self service kiosk nearby!

The room we were given had a lovely "living room" with a view of the Nordseite - stunning! We also enjoyed the horses grazing below our room.

not enough dining opportunities in the Dorf Aldrans, but a supermarket allowed for food shoppimg and the floor had a kitchen like room to help us prep a meel and keep food refridgerated.

The hotel itself is lovely and the room very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. The views are amazing and it's great that the hotel has a small room for guests with kettles, microwave, cutlery, etc. The pool area is quite nice as well, although the water was a bit cold for me. Public transportation worked perfectly!

The pillows were a bit soft, but that's just a personal preference.

Absolutely everything! Delicious breakfast, superb vintage room with modern amenities and a perfect location with an incredible view. 10/10 on all counts. Did I mention the pool? Oh boy the pool...just go!

A nicer pillow or two of the same would've been great but then again I could've asked the reception !

Hotel is 10 min by a car from Innsbruck city centre but itself is placed in a lovely village of Aldrans. We had a room with amazing view on a city and mountains which we didn't really expect. We really liked authenticity and home-like atmosphere of the hotel.

There was no shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom but we were aware of that in advance and brought our own.
