Plenty of space and very clean. Kitchen was equipped well enough for a few days' stay and the coffee machine got a lot of use. Plenty of air in spite of warm weather and other reviews that implied otherwise. Close to quick no.4 bus into the city centre. Friendly and helpful manager on site most mornings.

A closed cupboard would be useful rather than all open shelves, so my visitor from another room had to look at my underwear. An armchair for relaxing would have been welcome.

We loved our apartment. It was very clean and cosy, and it had everything that one may need for a short holiday. The kitchen is well equipped, and so is the bathroom. The bed is super comfortable and the building is in a very quiet area - the perfect ingredients for a good night's sleep. The property is conveniently located, with public transport just a few yards down the road, and a few supermarkets a short stroll away. We always walked to and from the town centre, which is about 25-30 minutes away on foot. Just down the road from the property there is a small tavern (Gnigl Stub'n) which serves good quality local dishes at very affordable prices, as well as tasty local beers. We had a lovely time at Ante Portas and we would strongly recommend it to other travellers and holidaymakers.

Although not essential, it would be good to have a tea towel and a draining board in the kitchen.

The stay itself was very nice. We really enjoyed the room and facilities it offered. It was very clean!! The hosts were the sweetest and kindest people which made our experience that much more enjoyable, who also gave us some great recommendations for where to visit and eat. The beds were also very comfortable.

When my partner and I booked this place, we didn't do enough research on the location of the apartments which is completely on us. But, I believe the price of the stay was a little too much for where the apartments were situated. It was rather difficult getting into the main city center and took a while to reach our destinations. We thought it would have been more convenient if we had stayed inside the city center rather than outside of it.

Close to public transport, bathroom is big and clean, kitchen is well-equipped, easy to self-check-in, good cafe nearby with a very kind lady who makes you feel welcome (as opposed to far too many waiters, cashiers and sellers we encountered all around who acted as if we had committed a crime for not learning a whole new language to be able to order a sandwich without bothering them asking what's inside). I popped up to say hello to the receptionist in the morning and she was very welcome as well. My husband and I were very pleased with our choice. We pretty much recommend Apartments Ante Portas and will stay there again if we ever go back to Salzburg.

They fitted lots of facilities into one room, even a coffee machine! The bathroom was nice and big enough for two people to use at the same time. It was close to a bus stop, a supermarket and a lovely Italian restaurant. The owner was so helpful and nice and went above and beyond to help me organise an earlier flight home. Couldn't have done it without her help😊

A toaster would have been handy but they were not that common in Europe...?

Location - very good, quite location. Nearby bus station that leads you to the city center. Check in - you get a code and key is awaiting you at the door, so you can check in a lil later. Staff - very friendly staff, always helpful. Bathroom - spacious bathroom with good shower zone. Utilities - perfect. Coffee - good.

Bed - the rightside matress was curved a lil bit and was not so comfortable. We dont know what is the situation in the other rooms.

Location was good as right to bus stop for getting into Salzburg. Excellent facilities. Nice and clean. Good parking if you came by car. Good decor. Modern but homely style.

Bit noisy as on ground floor next to road, plus I was under the impression I had booked a room with a view on the top floor! Some issues with the payment before arrival as they appear to have not updated their website in a while so not the same as booking.com prices.

It was just fine. The place had everything what we needed for the couple of days what we spent in the beautiful Salzburg. The neighborhood is calm with good connections to the city center. We could not hear other guests, Ante Portas is a quiet and calm place.

I cannot recall anything.

It had everything in the room, a comfy bed, kitchen amenities, and heating in the bathroom floor. Special note, We requested an umbrella before we could arrive and it was provided to us in our room when we checked in. Ease of using the public transport as it was less than 5 min away.

Lack of elevator, and no bathing toiletries.

My stay here was absolutely exceptional. The room was very neat, comfy and well equipped with everything needed. Kitchen utensil were also super clean. The access to the place was amazing, direct bus 10 from airport drops you 2 minutes away from the place. The connection from the railways station is also a direct bus 23 to the place. There is a supermarket 3 min away by walk. The checkin was super smooth with a code and key in the door. I appreciated the neat instructions placed in the room for me regarding transport and things to do around. I also loved how it was very COVID safe with minimal interactions with people. I would definitely stay here again when I come next time! Bonus points to access to public transport -- Bus 140 to Mondsee, Bus 150 to Bad Ischl (And further to Hallstatt), and another bus to Gaisberg view point of entire Salzburg -- all close by!
