Location was 15 min away from the old town where we spent most of our time. Taxi service was available easily, even in the early morning hours. Bus station is less than a 10 min walk. Also the 2 people at the reception that we met were very friendly and helpful as well.

The lady at the hotel restaurant could be a little more friendly. She was nice but a bit brusque. If tourists are visiting, it is quite possible that language & communication could be difficult. Perhaps one can be a little more understanding.

very authentic architecture as hotel built in 1888. The rooms were all surprisingly modern. There is a quaint church across the street that softly rings hourly bells. The breakfast was hearty and had a regional fare. The location is a short walk to bus 4 which basically connected us to everywhere we wanted to go.

we visited on a national holiday (May 1). When we returned to the hotel, the restaurant was closed for the holiday and there was nothing in the vicinity open. We felt they could have informed us of this.

This was just charming, it is exact opposite to "new age hype" and PnL driven big hotels. Easy going family run hotel in suburb of beautiful Salzburg, with restaurant (btw. the food was great, classic for this area and they have very fine beer). Rooms have older furniture, but renovated bathroom, nice and comfy beds. Clean. Parking on site.

Well, what can be better . . . . . . what can be better than sitting in front of this hotel at restaurant outdoor seating area, under big tree; in July, enjoying glass of Austrian Veltliner? ;) Nothing.

Alan was so kind and helpful. We had left behind a coat in Vienna and he was kind enough to help us communicate with the previous hotel to get our belongings shipped to us. He went above and beyond! The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant had a great menu. The location is outside city center, but is still good as it is a 5 minute walk to 2 different bus stations and a 15 minute to the mall or train station. We had a great experience, thank you Alan!

The hotel is in a quiet area, there is big parking in front of it. It is very clean, towels are changed daily. The room is big enough. There is a bus station within 3 minutes walking distance and buses go very often. Internet is good in rooms.

Breakfast could be more varied. Sound insulation could be better. You can hear people talking from the next room or room above or under. The location is not the best, it is located 3.5 km from the city center, but it is connected by buses well. Missing WiFi in lobby and restaurant.

The location is good, 15 mins by car from city center. The place is quite nice and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is ok.

It was a bit cold in the room and the heating was low. Also the breakfast was good but there was no any hot meal except coffee and tea.

No Green Policy visible, reflected in small details that can be improved. Soap in the bathroom in small single-use plastic wrap (from non renewables). Single-use plastic (non-renewable) trash sachets. Some single-use packaged food for breakfast (for instance butter). All these details can be improved, showing a commitment to a non-consumeristic and environmentally respectful society.

Location is great if you stay for a night as is not too far from motorway. Great restaurant-the food was very tasty-pork liver with roasted poattoes and apples in a quiet neiborhood.

The church has a bell that rings at every quarter of an hour! we were very tired and we slept well anyway!

Classic old style. Restaurant on-site with great food. Breakfast included with accommodation - was very good and service was professional. Comfy and chill.

Noise in the room - would have rated it higher if it had not been for this. We could hear people snoring in another room.

Good value for the price. The stay, the room, the staff and breakfast was good. We were able to check in till 10PM. We also got a call from them to check about our check in time. Response from staff was good and friendly.

While taking the shower water was spilling out from the tub to the floor through the glass door. When reported, the staff responded friendly and confirmed to check on it.
