It’s great for parking free. 15mins walk to the Getreidegasse, restaurant available nearby, hotel staffs are friendly.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the city centre in one direction, and a 20 minute walk to the Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron in the other - both along safe and pretty streets. Warm and comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast with everything you could ask for. Friendly and efficient staff. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

The room was small and the bathroom only had a sliding door that you could see shadows through so there wasn't as much privacy as there could be. Didn't bother us for the price of the room, though.

The wifi was working perfectly, and the hotel was easy to find. The staff is very friendly, breakfast was above average : many choices of salted and sweets, good quality, fresh vegies, and nice ambiance. The room had a little terrace with nice view on the street and on the mountains. I would recommand this hotel for a short visit in Salzburg.

The room we booked was offered with french bed, although in reality 2 smaller beds were put together. It was not fixed, so slided away : not the most comfortable.

Location close to some shops, cafes, supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Convenient for bus to/from Salzburg center (10-15mins), or can walk 20-25mins. Decent sized room.

Limited parking on site. Parking restrictions on surrounding roads. Due to hot weather conditions, rooms should have had fans in room especially to aid sleeping at night.

Room was very nice and it was close to the city centre. Very nice and powerful shower. Friendly staff. Good quality breakfast. Even though it was near busy road- 2 sets of double glazing kept room very quiet.

Parking facilities are only for couple of cars, we left our car on a side street which was ok but I would rather have it on secure carpark. Close to the main road- if you like to sleep with your window open - it will be noisy.

Love this old and lovely hotel. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We were able to buy transportation pass from them and get straight onto the trams. The breakfast was excellent!!!

A bit of stairs to take even using the elevator. I would prefer to have ac but they provided a nice fan and we were comfortable with that and open window. A little outside noise from traffic.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The stuff was friendly and provided us with a map and directions how to get to the city center, which is pretty easy - just walk about 15 minutes down the main street. Delicious breakfast at an open terrace was a great start for the next day. We travelled by car and a private parking was a big plus.

The Hotel Astoria was good value for money and a 20 min walk to the Old Town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were not happy with our small twin room which looked nothing like the photo on Bookings com and was v small. The staff moved us to a bigger room without hesitation. it was possible to buy drinks including tea and coffee from the bar.

the front room face the street which is noisy until evening and first thing in the morning. the Astoria was the only hotel we stayed in during our trip that did not provide water glasses.

breakfest were nice and cozy, i like the architecture of the coffee room. unfortunately we were in new add build part of hotel so not so decorative rooms i believe. but it was enough for 1 night stay. bear in mind centre its 2km away.

the bathroom was quite small, literally toilet and shower corner divided by sink. There was a bit problem with parking, hotel has only 6places and the rest depends on local residence on street, i had to repark my car once to be more on safe side.

The hotel is well located, with bus No. 1 and 10 stops directly across the street. Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly. The parking space was ample and near, just outside the hotel.

The staff or manager could have been more responsive to our querries, even though nothing important was involved.
