The whole ambiance of the place and the attention to detail in the stunning decor. The staff were attentive, professional, and very well dressed, Breakfast was superb, the bar fabulous. Our stay felt like we were in a top notch, out of budget place but without any stuffiness. It was welcoming, in a perfect location, intimate, warm and very cosy. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Leaving! There wasn't much storage for our luggage and contents of. Not much choice for making a cup of tea/coffee but we were up and having breakfast or out and in the bar before bed so we didn't really need it. The hard floors made for hearing people in neighbouring rooms a little noisy.

Lovely hotel in a quiet street. Also, staff polite and friendly. The lady on reception was most helpful helping us book a crazy early morning taxi to take us to airport the day before we left. The cleaning lady was always jolly and greeted us when we saw her in the mornings. The British barman was a sweetheart, and the breakfast servers were friendly and attentive every morning. Not forgetting the delicious food at breakfast (highly recommend the scrambled eggs with bacon or the fried eggs with bacon). The hotel was a bit of a walk to the centre but we like walking, so this was not a problem for us. However, it’s very close to a large Christmas market. It was so nice to have a bar at the hotel which stays open until midnight, but the cocktails are a little overpriced in my opinion. We found drinks pricey in most bars in Vienna, though. We had a fabulous experience staying here and slept well each night. The beds were super comfortable. Our room included a hairdryer (I only realised on second day this was located in the drawer under the sink in the bathroom - you need to press the drawer at the front for it to open), trouser press (didn’t use this), an umbrella, a safe, fridge, kettle, shower wash and shampoo, soap, nail file, some cotton buds and plenty of towels. It really had everything you need and expect from a decent hotel. This was our first visit to Vienna, and this hotel 100% deserves 5 stars. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. We are so glad we picked it.

What a gem. Beautiful boutique hotel with a special ambiance that makes you feel warm and welcome. The staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was delicious with the selection of options nearly endless. The rooms were big enough and very clean. It was also nice to find a hotel where the rooms are very comfortable and dark at night which makes sleeping so much easier. The close location to significant historical places and central Vienna made walking around very easy. This would have to be one of the nicer hotels we have stayed in throughout our travels across Europe.

Nothing to improve. Don’t change anything.

We booked an upgraded room which was very nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable. The fact that we could open the windows and control the heating was very comfortable. Also, they provide soap, shampoo and so on in large containers that are very comfortable to use. I missed the kettle in the room - they provide a coffee machine - asked from the reception and got immediately the kettle, teas and cups. The location is on a very quiet street 5 minutes from the center, 2 minutes walking to the tram #2 station. This tram goes to all the major attractions. The breakfast is superb, with many choices, cold and hot, fantastic breads, smoked salmon, many kinds of eggs and so on. The staff were very friendly and helpful, all speak English and were smiling and nice.

It was difficult to get used to the huge pillows. We stayed 4 nights and they changed daily all the sheets and towels which was a pity, as we could use the same for all our stay.

Gorgeous decor, room was nice, a little small but enough space. Great shower (amazing water pressure) shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. Even body lotion! Bed was very very comfortable as well. Staff super friendly, will give restaurant recommendations, book taxis for you etc. Hotel bar was exceptional, incredibly delicious drinks and ambiance. Bartenders were friendly and very talented. Music volume was perfect and seats super comfortable. Overall - a wonderful stay. Also only a 20 minute walk to get to Vienna Old Town!

The room definitely had a stuffy smell whenever we came in/returned from sightseeing - almost like a residual smoker smell? However, opening the window and airing the room out solved the issue very quickly. Also - the pillows could be a bit firmer - they do provide a second pillow if you need one though so overall the bed was very comfortable.

Good choice for breakfast , buffet and menu, service was always quick and staff very friendly and helpful. Good location, we were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to visit and close to transport links for further afield. Lovely bar with great choice of cocktails. Would stay again

Would have liked some information in room re facilities (breakfast time , laundry etc) , I know we were probably told when we checked in but was tired and not really paying attention. I wanted to call reception one evening but couldn’t find number (tried usual 0/9) The room was small but was fine for a 2/3 night stay

I stayed for 6 nights in this new boutique hotel. It had a very beautiful interior with an eye for beautiful details. Everything was very colourfull and cosy. Good breakfast buffet with a-la-minute coocking and delicious egg preparations (must try is the Egg Royal). The staff was very friendly and helpfull, specialy the most friendly woman at the reception desk. She told me about her experience in Belgium so we had a friendly connection. The single room was cosy but very very small. The shower in the bathroom was so small i could not turn around. The bed was great. Great location behind the cityhall. Tram line 2 towards the opera and Kärntner Strasse only 100m away. This hotel was a pleasure to stay at and i will come back.

The single room was very very small. I stayed at other hotels where the single rooms were at least twice the size. The bathroom was small and even the shower was so small you could not turn around in it.

The decor was amazing and really unique, it definitely felt like a boutique hotel. The lobby area was cool and we loved all the little touches such as the old fashioned elevator. Overall we really liked the room, the bed was super comfy. The staff were brilliant (both on reception and at the bar), they were really helpful and friendly. The location was amazing, especially for the Rathaus Christmas Market! Even without this though, we liked the area a lot and it was still close enough to the centre. We thought it was really good value for money, especially considering it was the Christmas season

The room was dusty in places, and we weren’t fond of the window between the bathroom and bedroom! The cocktails and bar were very nice, but the prices were high end and didn’t reflect our room (to be fair we did choose the smallest/cheapest room in the hotel). This isn’t a complaint because the hotel never said it was, but the TV wasn’t a smart TV Overall though we really liked the hotel, it’s just maybe still finding its feet which is understandable. We would definitely stay here again

nice size room, excellent amenities (shampoo/conditioner/soap), the bathroom was very nice (shower was one of the "rain" types that has a wand for getting to areas not easily reachable by the rain shower head), water hot and easy to adjust). We had an extremely early flight and they were very helpful re: obtaining a cab; also, they provided detailed instructions on how to get from the airport to the hotel via the local trains. We had an amazing cocktail made to special order from their bar - it's not inexpensive by any means, but I do recommend it - the bartender asked us what we liked and then made up something that I've never had that was flipping amazing. We went for the Christmas markets, and the hotel is in a good spot for exploring the city center and the main markets. Vienna has a lot of those markets and I'd say at least 5 of them are within what I would call walking distance (about 15-20 minutes).

Vienna is an expensive city, and this was our first time visiting. We were very happy with our accommodations, but I cannot speak to whether or not we could have found better value for the price elsewhere. I wouldn't really say this is something I didn't like personally, but it's on a side street, so if you are like me and value quiet and tucked off the main drag, you'll appreciate it and if you want the hotel entrance to be right in the middle of the action, you won't.

Excellent location both for business and leisure travellers, nearby City Hall Square (Rathausplatz), Schottentor and Opernring, which is ideal route for discovering Vienna's beautiful city center (both by walk or public transport). Exceptional breakfast with good choice of high quality Austrian and international dishes. Cosy evenings in the piano bar with out-of-movie bartender Clean, quiet and stylish boutique hotel - remarkable place for an ultra-mega-romantic weekend or couple days with your beloved one!

The bathroom is a bit small and narrow, otherwise nothing at all. As of our stay (Feb 2024), huge construction site of U2/U5 metro lines crossing was located at the City Hall, just two blocks from the hotel. That could (!) be an inconvenience for somebody who wants to stay in quiet and easy to get to place. However, the hotel itself was not affected and during the weekend, we have not experienced whatsoever issues (neither noise, nor dust or smell).
