As this is not my first stay at the hotel, I keep coming back to it because of it's location, right at the edge of the Inner City. All the sights of the Inner City are in walking distance. Good connections to local public transit. If you are visiting Vienna as a tourist, this hotel is an excellent choice due to it's location, and it is priced reasonably.

Did not like the first room I got, switched to another one, met partially my preference, but overall it was quite small. However, it had a large balcony.

This hotel is on the top three floors of the building, so you get a great view of the rooftops of Vienna. I had the suite with the view of St Stephen's Cathedral. It was very large and very clean, with a separate bedroom and two TVs. The bathtub was very welcome after a day walking around Vienna. Breakfast was a delight. They made you made to order eggs of every kind and they were made by a chef, you could tell. They even had champagne for people who drink at breakfast time. The tables were set with white stiff linen. The servers were very attentive and helpful. Once again very few gave them a well deserved tip. The restaurants and souvenir shops were a short walk from this hotel near to the Cathedral. I would also recommend the hop on and off bus.

Please upgrade your toilet paper. It was like wax paper. The train had better paper than this great hotel.

A very pleasant stay in the center of Vienna. Best part of the stay was very friendly staff, very helpful, and alert enough to note that my wife's birthday was during our stay (with nice surprises offered). Also - free printing of documents, which was excellent. Good clean rooms at an affordable price, near to the Stadtpark.

Breakfast was very good, but a bit too expensive. It is a buffet, so you can eat enough to make it worthwhile, but then you will start your day with a very full belly. There are alternatives outside of the hotel that are better value for money.

Breakfast had a great, fresh selection and thankfully doesn’t face the sun head on. The room itself had a view of both the Stephansdom and the Stadtpark. What a great morning and night view. But what really was exceptional here at Hotel am Parkring was the staff. Incredibly accommodating and helpful! My friend and I were in town to run the Vienna City Marathon, and had checked out the morning of — the staff did everything imaginable and extra to make our race day run smoothly. Props to the team. Thank you so much!

There was some sound — likely a washing maschine of some sort — emanating from the toilet area. This was not noticeable with the door closed, and likely was due to proximity to some sort of supply closet.

Everything is exceptional! The view from the 13th floor room takes your breath away, as if you can lay your hands on Dom! From all around you see Vienna in the morning light and in the night lights! Professional staff at the reception, great bartender who made a nice cocktail and recommended us a good wine! The breakfast on the 12th floor, with the town at your feet. A very rich and exquisit breakfast! you have to try their breakfast! It is a menu for the eggs, I had the benedict eggs, absolutely wonderful! All kind of fruits, a great variety of cheese and a fine apfelstrudell! Impeccable staff in the hotel! We let the car in front of the hotel and someone took it and brought it from the garage! We asked at the reception from information to find some points of interest for us and we received accurate informations about everything! In this period is the Vienna film Festival and every night are film screenings in the Town Hall square and street food from many countries!At the check out we made a new reservation for the Christmas market!

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for discovering Vienna on foot and we really enjoyed being able to pop back to the hotel in the afternoon for a quick nap ;-). Every person of staff we encountered was so nice and helpful, we especially enjoyed breakfast for the lovely people (and of course the excellent food and wonderful view). I requested a quiet room if possible and they gave me a room at the top floor, which was far enough away from city noises for getting a good night's sleep. The rooms were very comfortable and well stocked with bathroom products and tea & coffee. I'd definitely want to stay here again if I visit Vienna again.

The best part of the room was the balcony view. The beds were comfortable and the room itself was large enough to be comfortable for two people. The location by the park and close to the tram stop was nice.

We were not able to adjust the temperature in the room when we first arrived and was told by staff that the air conditioner was turned off for the approaching cold weather in the coming days, which isn't tremendously helpful when we were feeling hot at that moment. There were also a scheduled protest during the European Gas Conference that took place right outside our hotel. There were sirens, barricades and hundreds of police officers even in the days before the actual protest. Public transit was cancelled in the street right outside the hotel. We had to show our hotel key cards to get through the barricades. I know it was out of the control of the hotel but it did not leave a 100% positive impression of a peaceful stay. Honestly, it was too bad because we really did enjoy Vienna.

The views were amazing, the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and we booked a balcony which had a lovely view. There was another communal balcony with view over the entire old city‘s historical buildings. Also the breakfast restaurant had this same amazing view. The breakfast buffet had fantastic fresh selection and hot food was delicious and had everything you could possibly need. Then in the afternoons was the guest lounge again had a city view and free tea/coffee and tasty cakes.

Hotel is very old fashioned and with a quite ugly estethic, from the outside it doesn’t look like a hotel and there is no concierge service at the entrance, for 4 star hotel ( still confused where did they get 4 stars) this is unacceptable. Our room was on the last floor with a beautiful and spacious terrace, the only good thing about our suite. Rooms are small, with old 80’ furniture, but clean, with small bathroom. Beds were unexpectedly comfy. Location was great, which was the reason why we booked this hotel, but the price-quality ratio is pretty bad. Also the staff was polite and nice, which is unlikely for Vienna.

I am so grateful for the service .We are a couple celebrating 45 wedding anniversary and we was surprised with the bottle of wine ,fresh fruits and chocolate in our room.Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. The hotel is located in the center of everything, you can go by feet or use the metro 3 or 4 lines. The room is nice and the balcony with view of Vienna is fantastic.
