The beds and pillows were so comfy, the location was perfect being just a couple of minutes from Steohensplatz. I chose this hotel because if it’s proximity to the attractions, it’s “one of a kind” style set in an old building with old pieces of furniture and its reviews. Nothing disappointed me. But what I didn’t expect was the lovely attentive staff who couldn’t do enough to make our stay the best it could be. They helped me to print off tickets and whilst we were waiting to leave at the end of the day, we sat in the foyer and the staff helped us to charge up all of our devices and recharge ourselves with as much coffee as we wanted, free of charge. They were so delightful and definitely influenced my rating.

The hotel is in a great location - less than 100 meters from the cathedral right in the heart of Vienna. It was a 10-minute walk from the central station which meant I was at my hotel within less than an hour after landing at the airport. A really warm welcome on arrival and quickly to my room on the ground floor. Very easy to then access the rest of Vienna for my trip set up with a good breakfast in the morning.

The hotel was too warm - but then everywhere in Austria felt too warm indoors - maybe it is a feature of Austrian life? The room decor was a little dated but a great size and the aircon didn't seem to make any appreciable difference to the room temperature. My only gripe was the very firm bed. I don't mind a firm bed but this was something else. Otherwise a quiet neighbourhood.

I would like to point out that this hotel is very cozy and has absolutely wonderful staff :). The hotel is located in the very center of the city and at the same time away from the noise and bustle of people. As the hotel is centrally located, there are many places to eat nearby. In my opinion, the room was really very cozy, comfortably furnished and stylish. Great stylist's work - very nicely coordinated colors (curtains, bedspreads, walls, etc.). Quality furniture, comfortable bed. This hotel perfectly combines style and high quality. The bathroom is also equipped to a very high standard with everything you need. I would definitely choose this hotel next time because of the great location, amazing staff, comfortable and elegantly furnished rooms.

The location was amazing! You are right in the city centre but just off the main street so its not noisy at all. You couldn't get a better location in my opinion. Its in walking distance of everything, the underground is a 2 minute walk, I walked to the hotel from the train station in 15 mins, there is also a train which takes 6mins. The rooms are spotless! Incredibly clean hotel, not even a bit of dust under the bed. The hotel itself if older, but its charming. Rooms are large with plenty of space and all the basic facilities you could need. The staff were so friendly and could not have been more helpful. For the cost you absolutely get value for money. I didn't eat in the hotel so I cant comment on the food. But you are surrounded by cafes and restaurants so it wasn't an issue for me. Also if you are very young and looking for an upbeat/party hotel, this isn't the one. But if you like being able to go out and the come back to sleep in comfort and get a good nights rest this is perfect

There is no aircon in the rooms, it was very hot in the hotel, they did supply fans but if the weather was above 30 degrees I think aircon would be needed.

It's a wonderful location. The beautiful Stephensdom is just a 3 minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, etc. nearby. Plus, you're not far from the U-bahn, and the streetcars to get to other places. The staff is always just so pleasant (this is my 3rd time staying there). For example, this morning, I'd already checked out but had a late flight, so they stored my bag. I came back and the staff member at the desk called a taxi for me and even made me a lovely cafe melange to sip while I waited. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The room was small, but honestly, the location, cleanliness, comfortable mattress and great staff make up for it!

The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Location is awesome, right behind the Saint Stephan's Cathedral surrounded by lots of landmarks. Plenty of restaurants: austrian traditional, italian, greek, hungarian, asian, arab, whatever one can think of. The atmosphere in the inner city takes you back to good old times :), lot of history from which Franz Josef and his beautiful empress Sisi seem to be present to our days. Museums, gothic and baroque architecture, art galleries, everything is revealing the glorious city. Vienna has a wealth of material for stories that entertain and intrigue. And Domizil hotel fits perfectly in the atmosphere. Vienna's famous quality of life and rich variety of cultural offerings is apparent here at every turn.

Location: It's located in the central Vienna (about 3-5mins walk from St.stephen's Cathedral. There are so many restaurants and caffe, and easy to catch public transportation as well. From Vienna airport, I took a CAT (city airport train) to the Landstraße station (less than 20mins and direct), and from that station to this hotel was about 20mins walking. It was easy to access even with my 20kg suitcase. (I think tourists can take a bus or metro but I just preferred to walk.) Staff: Really kind and helpful. After the checkout, I could leave my suitcase to see around the city until my departure. Room: clean, comfortable.

Nothing particularly (Price might be a bit expensive for single traveler like me but considering average prices in Vienna, the price seems to be reasonable.)

Perfect location. 5 min walk from the Stephan dome. Lots of buses and metro nearby. Old but charming hotel, the corridor outside my room had a bit of a spooky feeling (think The Shining), which I found quite amusing. Nice, clean room and excellent breakfast with both hot and cold dishes. Also very friendly and helpful staff.

The wifi was not very reliable. My Iphone would not connect at all, but my tablet did. However the connection was shaky and I had to reconnect quite often. Maybe a bit overpriced hotel, but considering the location this would be expected.

Very nice hotel in an ideal situation. It is just some steps to the center. You can visit most of the attraction by foot. Personal is super nice and professional.. Breakfast is perfect. Mozarthaus is just behind the hotel, it's worth to visit it. If I come back to Wien, I'll come back here for sure. Thanks for your warm welcome.

A little noisy if you get a front room (we can hear people talk or the cars riding like the windows were open - but it wasn't the case of course). We also would expect to have something in the freezer for free in a 4 **** hotel... Everything, included the water bottle was extra.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. Right in the heart of the city near all the main tourist sites and metros etc. Really good find. The hotel room itself was great. Clean, great facilities and lovely sized rooms. The breakfast was good with a lovely selection of cheeses. We were trying to be healthy so an option of porridge would have been good, but thats just personal preference. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to come to VIenna.
