The hotel is conveniently located close to everything we wanted to see! It is a block from the Opera House, to give you an idea. The staff was helpful with directions, as well. The breakfast was just wonderful with an impressive variety of items including small omelets and scrambled eggs, lots of cut-up fruit, meat, and pastries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would absolutely recommend it to travelers!

We had trouble with the shower the first day, but our maid showed us how to use it. European shower controls differ from American, and they re not always obvious.

Everything looks really nice: the room is very spacious made in a historical style, but full of modern things like Dyson hairdryer, high quality cosmetics in the bathroom, coffee machine, refrigirator. Although a bottle of water is extra. The breakfast was amazing: any types of eggs could be prepared upon request, salmon, sausages, cheese, bread, appetizers, black caviar, champagne. It's not huge, but very well maintained and of a very high quality. No complaints. I was also able to leave my lugguge by reception and get it later. Front-desk manager also did me a favor and received my delivery. The location is also comfortable: the hotel is located on a small quite street, but 100m from the main shopping street. Everything's around. Overall great experience, can reccommend.

The only thing: the extra bed was not really comfortable to sleep in, especially the matress.

Excellent location inside the Ring and steps from Kärtnerstrasse and the Opera. The breakfast buffet was small in area but large in offerings. Our room was well laid out, comfortable, and nicely decorated. A/C was great. There are several restaurants in the immediate area, including the very good Sole. We had to leave early in the morning so the receptionist ordered a taxi for us. The driver came into the lobby to get us and all went smoothly.

When we arrived the taxi left us at the back entrance which was a little faded. But once we saw our room and the front of the lobby it was much more elegant.

The location of the hotel is incredible. You enter through one side through a charming alley, and on the other along a lovely narrow street with some excellent restaurants. The three rooms we booked were clean and well furnished- the regular rooms are on the small side, typical of an older European hotel. We booked two junior suites and one deluxe double.

The air conditioning in the junior suite on an upper floor was nearly nonexistent. We got very little sleep as a result. There were no screens in the windows, so we got a few moquito bites from leaving the windows open to try to get a breeze. The other two rooms didn't have this problem.

Breakfast was excellent, eggs cooked to order, with plenty of fresh choices all nicely presented. The servers were exceptional. We enjoyed the more traditional style of the property-something we look for when staying in a Europe- and it has a certain elegance not achieved with corporate hotels. Superb location, on the doorstep of some nice restaurants and minutes walk to the main square.

A larger room although we appreciate rooms can be smaller in Europe. Also, better air con but we were in a heat wave, so will accept it was working hard throughout the hotel.

Friendly service. Perfect location. The nice smell in the hall. Everything looks beautifully cared for. Umbrellas for guests. Luggage storage. Coffee, and tea for guests. The breakfasts are very tasty - maybe there are not ten types of cold cuts, but there are some very tasty and fresh ones. There is caviar, delicious salmon, and sparkling wine. You can ask for an omelet or hot scrambled eggs. Our standard double room (2nd floor, facing the street) was warm and quiet. The blackout curtains allowed me to sleep. The room had a capacious wardrobe with hangers, a minibar with products, and coffee and tea with a kettle. A few points of light - you could make a nice mood in the evening. Lots of contacts to connect devices. Large TV with HDMI cable connection.

There was no connection between the mattresses of the double bed - they separated at night and you could fall into a hole. We had a broken lamp but the staff fixed it during the day. Still water in the room is payable (over EUR 4). Slightly strange knobs in the bathroom - it was hard to set the right temperature. Slightly aged hair dryer. Carpets are a bit worn.

The hotel is perfectly situated, in a tranquil road in the centre of Vienna (access by car is from the back, which is how it is signalled by Uber for instance). Staff is extremely kind and welcoming. Rooms are in the "old Vienna" style, decorated and with an ancient taste, but everything is well kept and maintained. Beds are very soft and comfortable. Bathroom in our room was not the largest but sufficient. Breakfast was good, althought (intelligently) to manage costs and avoid wastes some of the hot food is prepared on demand (which also improves it freshness): it is maybe less spectacular than other hotels, but will not leave you disappointed.

Being the hotel in an ancient building on a narrow road in the centre of Vienna, the light coming into the room was not much: however, we had rainy days and this may have played a role. Also, being a "boutique" hotel, some of the services found in larger hotels may not be available (for instance they could not accomodate a request for a late check-out, but they declined it smilingly and courteously and offered to keep the baggage).

Location is just perfect. Nearly everything is at walking distance. We only needed to use public transport once in five days. Soundproof room. Despite the busy outdoor restaurant dining areas, no noise can be heard once the windows are closed. Very friendly staff at reception and during breakfast time. Nice continental breakfast with the addition of omelette, eggs & bacon or scrambled eggs freshly made on demand. Spotless room, large and comfortable. Good Wi-Fi

The only bad thing was to leave and going back to the real world.

Hotel smack in the city center, but still nice a quiet. Super breakfast. For once TP did not break just by looking at it (which is a rarity even a good hotels these days), but was of a decent quality. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Easy access from airport via public transportation.

Not a lot of pressure on the water for the shower. The juice at the breakfast buffet very disappointing quality, when the rest of the breakfast is so good. A bit of a nuisance that you often have to go through smoke to go out or in at the back entrance of the hotel, as it is used by smokers and it is quite a narrow alley. Hotel is smoke free and no smoke at front entrance.

The location was wonderful. Nestled on a narrow street, with one entrance down an alleyway, it felt like a magical place. You could walk to so many stores and museums easily.

We rented three rooms, and the one on an upper floor was hot. The air conditioning barely worked, and they don’t seem to believe in window screens, so we had to choose between bug bites and being so hot we couldn’t sleep. They left a fan in our room part way through our stay, which helped some. The other two rooms were nice.
