Hotel Topazz & Lamée

Best location for Vienna, right in the centre, surrounded by shops and restaurants, close to public transport stations. Room was big, well decorated and luxurious. Staff were excellent, eager to help with anything and very friendly.

The bar was closed when we stayed, which was unfortunate as we received a free drink token upon check in. The walls in the room were badly scuffed in some places, would need to be painted.

Absolutely fantastic staff except Guido , very accommodating. Views were good. We felt very well cared for during our stay and the amenities were well thought out.

one of the staff was very rude ! called Guido . the lounge close at 11:00 PM and we were about to get in the lounge at 10:45 PM and he said we closed with angry face ! we told him it is not 11:00 Pm yet and again told us the same thing we closed ! and then the other lady in the reception said no you still have 15 minutes. He said another many bad things that we never heard from any other hotel especially from 4 stars hotel !

We booked a prestige room type and accommodated in room 23. ROOM: very spacious, well designed (exactly as presented in the photos) nice ambiance. SHOWER: spacious room with spacious shower and great water pressure. Basic amenities provided (Ladies- bring a shower cap with you, the hotel doesn't provide it). BREAKFAST: Nice & intimate dining room with rich & wide products selection , fine & generously served in nice plates to your table (no more buffet due to COVID). I guess everyone here can find his favorite Breakfast. SERVICE: Absolutely 💯. Both the reception staff and the staff at the dining room were sooo kind & attentive , willing to please & assist you to make your stay wonderful. A room welcome present was prepared for us upon arrival, included wine and wafers. Location: 👌 as mentioned in all other reviews. From/to the airport - by train takes 21 minutes, stops at Wien mitte station. From there you can go by walk (10 minutes) or by Uban (U3 one stop to Stephansatz and then another 3 minutes walk Wunderbar gastfreundschaft Dankeschon 💜

The hotel Topazz is not a 5-star hotel, but the facilities are close to match this. The hotel has very special windows design which we very much liked. We had a room at the top floor, which was fantastic. The hotel is centrally located and you can easily walk to all important sights. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The utensils are of high quality. We recommend staying in this hotel.

Although the room and the windows are very special and it's also very nice to sip champagne while observing the crowds on the street, you're also being observes by the folks on the roof-top bar and offices just opposite the hotel (or even from the street). So if you want a little privacy the curtains need to remain shut, which is a shame for such a unique design. The furniture is becoming a little weary. The TV is not a smart-tv, so you can't connect your phone to it to stream media. There is no valet parking.

I loved how central it was. Also, I really liked the breakfast and the options. Really top class breakfast!! Staff were excellent at all times. Roof top bar has amazing views of the city. Outstanding place for photos. Rooms are much larger than the average size in Vienna.

Beds were very spongey and quite soft. I prefer when I travel to have a firmer mattress. The air conditioning didn't work in one of my colleagues room. The staff organised a room change but this should have been working. The air-conditioning in our other rooms was only average in terms of strength and ability to chill the room.

The hotel location is perfect, right in the city centre, with a supermarket and pharmacy next door. The staff were amazing, giving good tips for restaurants and travel. Out toddler was ill and they did all they could to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was lovely with good views, we had a separate lounge area and bedroom. They have an all day lounge which is a godsend for managing little kids meals and quiet time if you don't want to go back to your room. They also provide all day tea, coffee, wine, and some snacks which are complimentary in the lounge. The roof top bar is great to relax in also! Worth noting there are 2 adjacent buildings which are both part of the hotel. We stayed in Lamee which also has the roof top bar, Topazz contains the breakfast room and lounge area.

The lift for the lounge in Lamee can get a bit busy, so there was some waiting for this when getting to and from our room.

The location its just perfect. The scenery room on 8th had the best view on Saint Stephens Cathedral. Excellent amenities and stuff

A must have to upgrade the total experience, please change the pillows. Not comfortable at all.

Location is amazing, shops, attractions, restaurants is a stone throw away Breakfast enjoyable with a variety on the menu, however for long stay the choices may become boring Staff were super friendly & helpful Enjoyed having lounge access for a drink & relaxation after a long day of touring Vienna!

Rooms are small, cramped and outdated plus stuffy as the airco did not work & due to noise level from outside one could not leave the window open. Beds were extremely uncomfortable as mattresses which are soft & lumpy needs to be upgraded, despite the staff adding a topper for more firmness and comfort it was still really bad.

Our whole stay was absolutely wonderful. The location of the hotel is great for sightseeing in Vienna and getting the most out of the city. The bedroom was fantastic : the beds were ridiculously comfortable, the Italian shower and large bathtub were very nice, even the products (shampoo etc.) were of a very good quality. We regret not trying out the breakfast buffet.

One slightly inconvenient thing was the parking garage ; roughly 10 min walk. The advertised rooftop bar is also disappointing and overrated. The seating areas weren't comfortable (or even natural) and the whole atmosphere felt way off the hotel. I would not go back there again, even for a free drink.

ideally situated for exploring Vienna. The staff are fabulous and the real bonus was the availability of the breakfast room from 11am daily. Rooms very comfortable and had everything you would need for a lovely stay. All the staff were great in the reception and in the breakfast room, they really couldn’t have done more. All were extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing - , rooms, staff, breakfast all fabulous - couldn’t fault anything!
