The hotel was super clean and the staff was helpful in guiding us to explore the city. The hotel has a great location. Nizami street is 15min walk away and supermarket is adjacent. Taxi and Uber (which is called Bolt here) is available 24/7 and very economical to use. Hotel had an ATM which can give Manats in exchange of Dollars which is great to have.

Breakfast doesn't have great options and it is repetitive and staff made us sceptical abt food being Halal. Cleaning staff didn't speak English and had to communicate in sign language ;)

The place is clean, comfortable, I really loved their shampoos, lotion for body, even thinking of ordering the same for using at home. They cleaned my room everyday, the bed was very comfortable, it was really quiet, location is great, staff is amazing, all of them are so cute, I remember Mehman, Niko, Kamran who brought me food and also a guy who brought me a birthday cake:) hotel congratulated me with my birthday, which was so nice 🌝

The carpet floor is sooo dirty, it was really gross for me to even walk on it and putting my praying mat on it was also disgusting. I would really recommend them to clean their carpet floors thoroughly. And the TV quality is below average, but I came only to sleep so it’s not a big deal.

The staff throughout my stay were consistently polite and friendly. The room size could have been a bit larger

The hotel appeared enormous from the outside, resembling a palace. Situated in the heart of the city, it was surrounded by various attractions. The room was clean and well-stocked with toiletries. The staff were exceptionally kind, always eager to help and provide the best service. Breakfast was good as well. Additionally, having a large supermarket right next door was very convenient.

Considering the size of the hotel, the lobby and dining areas are quite small and cozy, with a limited seating arrangement. It's puzzling why a larger, more spacious main dining area wasn't built to meet '5-star' standards. The rooms are also small with sealed windows, and the worst part is the washroom. It features frosted glass walls and a glass door with a large gap at the lock, making it easy to see inside. Additionally, you can hear even the tiniest sounds from the washroom while in bed, which is particularly unpleasant when someone is using the toilet.

The hotel is in a very good location and looks like a palace from the outside. It has many amenities but does not offer a swimming pool. There is a local convenience store just a few yards away which is ideal for everyone especially families with young children. Nizami st is very close too. A lot of the tourist sites are near and you can try local restaurants which are not far.

During summer time the hotel is very busy, breakfast can be a rush as you are waiting around to find a table. The breakfast has a limited menu so you have similar foods each morning. You have to queue up for omelettes and that can take a long time. This hotel does not have a swimming pool which is another problem as young families like to relax by the pool. Sometimes you can come across rude staff particularly during morning breakfast where they have certain rules. Eg you can’t drink around the buffet area, you need to go to your table. I didn’t like that but yeah that’s how they behave.

it has nothing to do with the facilities or people. The location could have been better. everything is around you, but you will have to walk for around 20 minutes to get to nizami street through underground tunnels and dark alleys. good for solo travelers, but not for big families.

Location was very central. Housekeeping was exceptional, very clean rooms. Breakfast spread was decent. Good view from the rooms. Very comfortable beds although small. Supermarket right next to the hotel. Reception staff friendly.

Although location was central, not convenient for walking as you had to take the underground subway to go across the street. Rooms were a little small and no drawers provided. No toiletries like body lotion and dental kits were provided in the bathroom. Shower area should have had a shower curtain as the whole area gets wet. Corridors are really long, so long walk from the elevator to the room.

Excellent air conditioning in the summer months. Food was very tasty. Loved there was 24hour room service. Staff were very helpful. Room was cleaned to a high standard and housekeeping were not noisy on the corridor when you had the do not disturb sign on the door.

In the summer months it is not with walking distance of the old town so bear that in mind. I arrived at 3am and there was a huge group booking in so check in took a very long time to do. They had taken up all the seating so I had to stand and wait for my turn, this was not ideal after long day traveling from Ireland.

I had an ABSOLUTELY fantastic stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Baku. From the moment I checked in, everything was just perfect. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location is ideal, providing easy access to the heart of the city while still offering a peaceful retreat. ROOM 524 quickly became my home away from home. It was comfortable, spacious, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I could have asked for. The garden in front of the hotel was a beautiful addition—I enjoyed waking up each day to the serene view from my room, which made me feel great and set a positive tone for the day. I found it so hard to leave—if I could, I would have stayed much longer! Unfortunately, my time in Baku came to an end, and I had to return to Pakistan, but I’ll always have fond memories of my stay here. A special mention goes to MATLABS from the staff, who was simply AMAZING. His exceptional service and genuine care made my stay even more ENJOYABLE. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is commendable, from the well-maintained facilities to the delicious breakfast options that got my days off to a great start. The entire staff was outstanding, always ready to assist with a smile. I look forward to returning in the future and highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott Baku to anyone visiting the city.
