Gulf Suites Hotel Amwaj

Huge 1-bedroom suite that is basically a large 1-bedroom flat. Enormous living room with full kitchen and even a washing machine. Bed so large that it needed three pillows. Bath with separate shower, separate bath and bidet. Choice of bars and restaurants with interesting happy hour and other offers. Supermarket and pastry shop both within about 50m. Staff were most welcoming.

Nothing... but some people might not find it to be an ideal location as it is out on Amwaj Island. Having said that, it is only about 15 minutes drive or taxi from the airport and is used as a hotel for Gulf Air flight staff.

Location is good, always clean and staff courteous and efficient.

I used the gym which is small. Only two treadmills and, even though a Friday, very quickly people were waiting for me and the other user to stop. Bennigans, the pub in the hotel is also completely dead. Used to be a great place with live music pre-covid but seems like it’s never recovered. I’ve been back several times to stay so this is not a one-off.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Mr. Jafar during my stay at this hotel, and I must say, he was an absolute delight. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Mr. Jafer was also very knowledgeable about the local area and provided excellent recommendations for things to see and do. His friendly and professional demeanor made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel and its exceptional staff, do shout to Mr Jaffar if you visit this place.

The location was beautiful, the size of the apartment was bigger than I expected and obviously the bang for my buck lol. The food was also very good.

There wasn't much that we didn't like just a small issue with towels not being available after they'd cleaned and we had to ask 5 times and had to wait almost 2 hours just to get towels in both rooms. Towels also smelled like cigarette smoke when we asked for a non smoking room.

The one bedroom suit was super clean and kept full kitchen pot wears,Cleanliness all over the hotel is fantastic ,Housekeeping manager satheesh personally visit to the room check about us.there is a female security polite and assisted us twice during our stay.

We had cosen 2 bed room apartment. Rooms and living roomswere pretty large. Kitchen facilitg with all utensils. Staffs were very helpful. Building was very tidy.

The apartment was clean, location was convenient for my itinerary as I was only looking to stay in Amwaj Island

They had only 1 elevator working for the whole tower and it was time consuming. regarding the the apartment, you can hear the TV of the next-door apartment from one of the rooms

the space is spacious, the pool, the kindergarten play area & the restaurant as I had the best risotto ever, also the kindness & friendliness of their staff specially the manager in-charge Mr Shahzad additionally that they have a 24/7 mini grocery store, and it is in Amawj island which is close to the Dragon city as was planning for shopping during my stay in Bahrain. awesome place for families !

The room was huge! Very clean. Bed was very comfy. TV was equiped with latest cable channels. The staff were outstanding!

The phone system was down, however this did not stop the hotel to provide direct access to hotel services.
