The hotel's location, while not central to a number of the heavily touristed sites in Antwerp, was located in a place that made accessing those sites by foot pretty easy. The hotel is also close to the trolley lines--convenient for those who prefer that mode of local transport (and it's possible to buy tickets online). I liked the ease of check-in, the spacious lobby with plenty of seating at simple tables and chairs, the CLEANLINESS OF MY ROOM, and the comfort of the bed(s). These factors make for a trouble-free, low-cost stay. The decor is twenty-first century industrial -- concrete ceilings, a kind of straw mat carpet underfoot. Not objectionable. There is a cafe adjacent to the lobby where you can buy a simple breakfast or lunch. I did this only once. And also, though there are no 'free' television stations, I could easily connect my ipad to the television screen wirelessly.

I suppose many would prefer a more 'present' staff. I think the hotel keeps costs down by performing check in and check out with a machine, but the nearby office is staffed if the machine doesn't entice the traveler. The hotel also keeps prices down by providing only the simplest amenities in the rooms. I travel with a very small kettle, so the lack of a kettle in the room doesn't bother me. There is also a kitchen on the main floor, and available laundry facilities, for those who need those home-ier services.

Great location, nice concept, clean and comfortable place, fully recommend. Self service, common area with shared kitchen space was great.

I think everything was nice, maybe a small fridge in the room would make it even better

Great value hotel in the city and obviously very popular! Very spacious, clean and comfortable room with great shower, bed and air-conditioning. It’s pretty much a contactless hotel so you don’t really see any staff (you check in and out via a terminal). Good option to store bikes in the locked courtyard garden and good breakfast from the partner cafe. Eco conscious with recycling facilities and really nice to have the use of a shared kitchen.

They say that they keep costs low by not having TV’s in the room but there is a huge TV in the room, only you can only use it for steaming if you can log in (those of us registered in the UK can’t) could probably save more money by not having one at all.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, generally clean. Great value and location. There is a little cafe downstairs that is a separate company but it's right inside the same building - does simple breakfast and lunch. The downstairs area has a kitchen with shared facilities to use fridge/microwave/kettle etc and there's a little laundry/ironing room too. Very centrally located near to the main bus stance and railway station and in walking distance from all the main sites. Someone available at info desk if you need anything but the checkin and checkout can all be done by self-service screens as you come in which is very quick and handy.

The rooms are an industrial style without much insulation so you can hear between rooms and doors banging.

Upgraded to a large double room - very spacious, clean, lower ground-floor. Large shower. Pillows soo comfy! Staff were multi-lingual, polite and helpful - special mention for receptionist on late arrival(young woman with blonde hair- sorry didn't catch name) who gave a warm smile and was helpful. Also to Elisha who went out her way to help me with Metro times/stops to get to a show - spot on - thank you. Cafe attached for b/fast/lunch - very tasty food. Location excellent within 5-7min walk of all major transport needed.

Shower floor very slippy on first day - could do with a ribbed mat as likely someone could have a serious fall. A stand to put holdall/suitcase on would be helpful, rather than bending to floor or having to put them on the bed. Didn't manage to get normal channels to work on TV, but Christmas movies on YouTube worked & Netflix ok, so a happy bunny. Neither of these little critiques detracted from a stay that was comfortable and reasonably priced for our short w/end break. Loved it!

Its location fascinated me, as it was so close to the best supermarkets, restaurants, the University of Antwerp, Antwerp Central Train Station, Grand Place, Grote Market, and other places of importance. The room was good and the bathroom was lovely. The process from booking the room to payment/check-in was comfortable. Loved the kitchen and the arrangement to prepare and store food. Also, I loved the help of the hotel staff for an early check-in and a one hour late check out.

Did not like the stringent policy to not change the bedsheets/towels at least once in two days, a policy that keeps the room untidy. It was inconvenient not to have a kettle in the room to drink hot water or make tea. It was also inconvenient not to have a small fridge to keep fruits and drinks.

Very comfortable bed, big room, quite. Modern bathroom. Prices for parking in independent underground parking spaces is 20-27 for 1 day: 1. Big parking Opera directl entrance from tunnel -27.5 per day. Big parking space, lot of places. You recognize you are here by loud opera songs playing non stop. 2. Another opera parking in the same building as Citibox. There are street works but you can drive to enter garage. We didn't use it, prices were about 20 per 24h. In Antwerpen some places for breakfast are cheap, some very expensive (25+ EUR per person). Places with high rating are highly occupied, consider it to escape starving (my recommendation to find breakfast within 15 min time and plan few emergency options).

Absolutely loved the location, easy to find and easy to check in. Breakfast isn't offered here, but there's a small cafe where you can get one for a small fee.

The staff went and gave a key to my room to a person who wasn't staying in my room (I've stayed alone and had a single room). Even though it was a friend of mine in question, I did not appreciate the fact I'm in a shower and my (male) friend from other room walks in. My privacy, I've trusted I had, was broken. According to the staff "He said he stayed there." Well, this can easily be checked from the check-in form. You can't just go and randomly give the keys to the room for everyone who is claiming they are staying in there. Luckily I was checking out the same day this happened, so no other unexpected visitors showed up in my room. For this staff is getting the lowest possible rate from me.

The hotel met my expectations, The hotel had some spaces for working and studying in the loby. I really liked it. Most guests were students and people travelling for work. There was a cafe in the hotel (separate from the hotel) with good breakfast options. There is also an area like a kitchen, with a washing machine, fridge, microwave oven where you can eat. The location was great, walking distance to the shopping centres, old town and the university. The check-in was easy with a machine.

There was no fridge in the rooms, there was a common fridge in the lobby, which I didn't trust. One day at 06.00 in the morning, the fire alarm rang, they couldn't fix the problem promptly. We panicked a bit, it was due to a hairdryer in one of the rooms.
