No waffles or pancakes, in others Radisson you have

The room (627) was excellent: large, quiet (other guests allowing), clean, minimal street noise, excellent view of the station, warm (I turned the heat down a bit). The very comfortable bed was huge: it was like my wife and I were sleeping in different towns.

As a rule, we avoid hotel breakfasts when we can. On our last day, we had breakfast in the hotel. €58 for pretty standard fare, but the place was nice and the service was bustling and friendly. The bar on Saturday night was understaffed and people were complaining about slow service, but we managed okay. Finally, hotel is right across the street from the station, so very convenient if you arrive by train. But, it is a twenty minute walk into the old town and the best restaurants.

Hotel prominently situated just across the road from what is reputedly the world's most beautiful railway station. Old city centre is walkable from here (20 minutes) .We had been upgraded to a very large room; with good view of some of the city. Breakfast was varied and generally very good . Lovely view of station frontage from restaurant.

We visited in November but found room to be hot and stuffy; air conditioning didn't seem to be functioning properly: slept with window ajar. Swimming pool and sauna found to be closed when we wanted to use it on our last morning. Apparently there had been a technical problem from the day previously. I note from previous recent reviews that unexpected closure had also been experienced by other visitors. Therefore this problem seems to be repetitive

Location (opposite of the magnificent central train station and close to the center) and breakfast.

We stayed in a premium room and our room was connected to the room next door by an internal door. We think there was no soundproofing system because we heard everything in the room next door: all the conversations, movements etc. Therefore, we could not sleep well at night. We wanted to change our room but they could not do it because they were fully booked. It affected our stay very badly. If your room is connected to the room next door by an internal door like this, I recommend that you request a change at the beginning.

Great hotel with a great location. Sufficiently responsive staff. The room is clean. We refused cleaning, but the cleaners came every day, so I think the cleanliness of this hotel is very good. We liked the large bathroom with shower and bathtub, such a room is suitable for people who prefer to quickly wash in the shower and those who like to lie in the bathtub.

It was indicated that the room had a large double bed. At check-in we were told that there is no such room, there are rooms only with two separate beds. We were told that they could make an upgrade to a room of a higher category, but the situation with the beds there is the same, the room by the way has not been updated. It was suggested to change the room the next day, which did not suit us, as we wanted to rest and not to move stuff every day.

Fairly good location. Helpful and very friendly staff especially on reception..

The only really negative thing was that the seal round the shower door could have been better as the bathroom floor ended up VERY wet after using the shower.We had to mop it up with a towell. Unfortunately Antwerp itself appears to be a bit like a massive building site in parts with several roads closed and construction work everywhere. Not the best experience to have.

Very nice hotel. Had a large corner room with great views to the beautiful railway station opposite. Very comfortable big bed. Underground parking wasn’t cheap but worth it for the convenience. Excellent breakfast buffet in the breakfast room looking over to the stunning railway station.

On arrival receptionist kept insisting we didn’t get breakfast even after being asked to recheck. We had to log on and find our confirmation stating breakfast was included. The restaurant was closed for 3 days with no reason given. The room was quite bare with no carpet just wooden flooring, no desk and only one armchair. In a double room both people want to be able to sit down. The room was rather dim with just bedside lights and one standard lamp by the armchair. Lovely bathroom but the shower hadn’t been cleaned properly with black mould around the taps and soap dish.

Amazing central location which you can see the train station from, a five minute walk at most! We arrived early at around 11am so we couldn’t check in so we left our bags and went to explore the city for a few hours. We arrived back for check in at around 6pm and we dealt with a lady called Cristal who both myself and my partner agree is an absolute credit to the hotel! Note to GM: If there is any opportunity of development or promotion for Cristal I would highly recommend it as her warm smile, manners and efficiency is exactly what makes a good hotel a great hotel and for that reason alone I would rate The Radisson Blu , Antwerp a great hotel! Well done and thank you to Cristal and the whole team for making our trip most enjoyable. This is the only hotel I’ll stay in on my return to Antwerp! 10/10.

It’s a clean, modern hotel. Breakfast buffet was superb. The swimming pool was clean. Although it is hidden, there IS an outside elevator to the left of the steep stairs of the entrance. The elevator descends to the underground metro and up one flight to the hotel entrance.

Of all the hotels flanking the Astridplein, it is the furthest from the train station entrances. Sadly, the area has become trashy and unkempt since my last stay in the area. It would’ve been most appreciated if their onsite restaurant were open more nights. Otherwise, one must walk quite a few blocks to find a decent restaurant, unless you want burgers every evening.

We had a free upgrade to a premium room with a window overlooking the central station which was spectacular. The room was bigger then we had thought which was great and the bathroom was amazing. Buffet breakfast was by far the best I have had at any hotel. The pool, sauna and steam room were an added bonus and used everyday :)

Room service was the only let down. Both days our door was not shut properly leaving our room unlocked (luckily nothing stolen) and when I advised reception of this I was just told it happens all the time and they will let the housekeeping staff know. Wasn't great to here this happens a lot. The room had been cleaned but not to the standard of a hotel, water left over the bathroom and sheets on bed not changed, they made the duvet nicely again and that was it.
