This hostel is very modern! The aesthetic is very pleasing as well as the design of the beds/rooms. You can lock your things away with your key card which is nice. It’s also very clean and you get a free towel to use while you‘re staying. Tea and coffee in the lobby are also for free!

There are no toilets on the hallway, which would have been nice while staying in a room with seven other people in a room. For me, the age-matching could have been better. At some point, a middle aged man was put into a room with me (20 years old, female) which was kinda uncomfortable for me. It was the last night so I didn’t bother changing rooms but I would‘ve if I stayed another night! I just felt uncomfortable and unsafe. For young girls, I would book a female dorm only here, even tho I usually prefer mixed dorms.

Genuinely the best place I've stayed in Europe and I've travelled a fair bit. I loved the communal area with its comfy seats to sit and read, relax listening to music and drink a free tea/coffee. Reception staff were all welcoming as were those in the breakfast room. Breakfast was great, granola, toast, bacon & eggs, fruit and other bits. I thought the fitness room was a nice touch and was able to get a few miles on the treadmill done upon arrival before orientating myself with the city. The room was better than expected. I was apprehensive to share with 7 others but the nature of the beds with a privacy curtain meant it didn't feel like I was sharing - I could create a private, cosy space to sleep. All guests seemed respectful of each other and I had no problems at all. I'm looking forward to returning to Yust and seeing more of Antwerp.

No improvements I can think of. I suppose the view from the room was just over the back of some buildings, but I'd hardly mark the stay down for that. I was grateful to have big windows which opened to let fresh air in.

It feels more like a hotel that has some rooms set aside to also offer hostel options, in a good way. The rooms are very clean, fresh towels are provided upon check-in. Each bed comes with earplugs and curtains for privacy. The curtains are good enough that your bed can be kept dark even when the room light is on. Laundry is available for rather cheap, as dryers are free (and were customizable, which I liked considering I had some delicate wool clothing). Shared kitchen is available, 2 microwaves and a dish washing machine.

The wash & sink should be separated from the beds with a door, as the noise seeps through even with earplugs.. Especially if you're using electric toothbrushes. The shower booth is kind of annoying in the sense there is no curtain to keep your stuff in the back dry, as water goes everywhere. While the shared kitchen area was kept clean, the dishwasher didn't really seem to be operated as regularly, and for washing the dishes by hand there were very little detergent available. The kitchen was also missing some necessities like cooking oil, and only one sticky pan available when it was probably seeing far more use than the 4-5 different pots and the steamer/pressure cooker.

I appreciated the entire building and the attention to the guests. Beds and rooms are secure, you have to use the e-card as for the room as for the personal locker. The locker is big enough to contain a carry on luggage and hang a coat. A bathroom and a shower are located in each room. Everything was clean and esthetically warming. I loved the privacy that I had thanks to the curtains of the bed-box and the little shelter where I could put smartphone and little personal objects. Plus, there is a shared kitchen with a long table and furnished of all necessary (cutlery, cups, plates, bowls, fridge, oven...) and a gym.

Maybe the breakfast is a little too expensive compared to the offer, but maybe I had breakfast in the middle of service. Nearby, you can't find affordable restaurants and similar but generally medium high prices but you just take line 15 of tram and you'll be in the historic center.

The breakfast, apart of being an excellent meal, proper of a Hotel of this category, is one treat among many others. Yust for me, has been my home, more than a place to spend sometime. I have stayed in the lofts (10 months), in the dorms (perfectly well organized and there is no place that can be compared to YUST, in terms of cleanliness and security). Also stayed in the rooms, which are simply perfect, cozy; clean, with all possible details that make you feel thuis (at home!) The staff, making 24/7 the utmost to help. And is for real, I have seen them working and assiting from 07.00am to 23.00pm without a rest! Never rude; never a mistake. And the rest runs smoothly. Also a blast in terms of social life, events, parties on the rooftop, burguers day, etc, ect, etc Score: 10 A+++

The only wrong thing are some guests that should be banned and sent back to the tribe where they belong. It´s not a YUST fault, it is that the world is so connected that these humans can reach places that are not for them. Then they break the rules; are pigs in terms of higiene and tidyness, do not respect, do not cooperate. I insist, it is people hanging around that simply don´t belong.

Truly the best residence I had the opportunity to stay at so far. Neat, very comfortable and with many little amenities. We were provided with a city and neighbourhood map, sweets. Communication with YUST before the stay was exceptional, I even used the additional offer and ordered sparkling wine with paper hearts scattered around - my fiancé was amazed. Moreover, the hotel restaurant offers memorable service and tastes - I definitely recommend following chef’s tasting menu.

Lovely design both of the common areas and the rooms - contrary to most hostels, the furniture in the rooms is actually nice and comfortable and it's not only beds, there's also e.g. nice cushion-like seats on the window sills where you can read a book. The bathroom looked very modern and there was soap/shampoo in it, they were also giving towels to guests for free, which is hardly ever the case. The lockers were big and very smartly done - you could open and close them with your room card. Overall, can definitely recommend this place!

The location is not exactly central but there are good transport connections to the centre.

It's not even an hostel. It's an hotel adapted to accommodate the hostel typology. Beds came already made and had curtains for privacy. They even give you towel and ear plugs. Shower with shampoo and hair dryer. Breakfast was good, pretty much at the level that you see on most hotels.

When I arrived my card to my locker was not correctly associated to my bed number. This meant i couldn't store my belongings and had to lose more tjme to go back to the reception to sort the matter. I ended up finding out that my key would lock and unlock another locker's person instead of mine. All was solved but costed me more time.

Amazing stylish place with concept. Very good breakfast for fair price. Comfortable stable specious beds, you really feel there isolated. Nice terrace, beautiful common areas. Spotless clean. Everything opens with the card, super comfortable. Very professional and polite staff at the reception and restaurant

For me big downside was bathroom in the bedroom (8 people), 1 sink, 1 shower, 1 WC. No door to the sink and poor soundproof, so you taking shower or brushing teeth will wake up the whole room Further distance from the centre, but still walkable/bikeable Didn't pillow very comfortable, but it's very personal thing Sockets in the lockers are very high 😁 probably ok for Benelux people, middle Europeans will struggle 😁

The lobby was perfect for chilling or working and in there a coffee/tea/water station was available for the guests. We loved the room, which would have been amazing even for a longer stay, as it had a kitchen (with supplies) and even a small living room area. The hotel offers several services, like for example bike renting (we would recommend biking as a transportation method).

We did not visit the restaurant, hence we can not comment on that. In the morning, we could hear noises coming from the hallway, which woke us up.
