ROOM: My room was at the very top of the hotel, in the attic. I had to walk 6 flights of stairs. There is no lift so if you are not good on your feet, choose another hotel. My room was spacious, clean and offered free WiFi, a TV. Bed was very comfortable. There was a daily cleaning service and also fresh towels. STAFF: All the Staff were BRILLIANT. I could not fault any of them. LOCATION: Some reviews complained of a questionable location and a sense of being unsafe but it isn't. There is a book keeper nearby and a few times, I saw a few people hanging around outside but they are non threatening and keep themselves to themselves and don't interfere with others. The hotel is near a beautiful public park, Jardin Botanique de Bruxelles and business district with other hotels scattered around. The train station to take you to and from the airport is just over 5 minutes walk away and there are a few small good quality, well stocked supermarkets within a 5 minute radius. There is a very good, smart, modern mall with known branded shops inside, in addition to very good cafes and eateries. The area in and around the hotel is clean, though there is some pavement roadworks in the nearby area but this will only improve the area once the works have been completed. NOISE: The hotel is generally quiet but the streets outside can be a little noisy but this is because Brussels is a noisy city; there are always lots of Police, Ambulance and Fire (?) sirens and noisy drivers.

COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE ROOM: My first minor complaint I have about the room is there were no hooks to hang my coat or jacket and so I had to resort to hanging them in the wardrobe. However, there were also no hooks in the Bathroom to hang the towel and I could not drape it over the radiator in preparation for when I left the shower because the radiator was a distance away from the shower. My second complaint about the room is I could smell cigarette smoke and as a non smoker, I appreciate that I am quite sensitive to this odour. I believe there is a non smoking policy in the hotel but I couldn't be bothered about complaining but it is a fire hazard. I left the window open throughout the day and this removed that but this may cause problems to you during the cold weather.

All was in good shape and we got a first floor room as I'm handicapped. We had a hard time getting a taxi for the airport on a Sunday morning and the staff went to bat for us to make that happen. They were also very responsive to our emails.

We didn't have time for the breakfast and it was ok I guess but simple for the price. The taxi had a hard time finding the place even though it is located in a. prominent square in the City. Maybe it was just an inexperienced driver.

The staff were very friendly, 24 hours reception so it was secure, close to North station, this side of the city we didn´t like to much because it was many homeless people, and the around of the station dirty, but you have a police station close, and walking to the center was 15 minutes.

They need to clean better, there were many hair in the bathroom and also a few inside of the bed when you take the blanket.

What ever I’ve asked that night they was there for me, which one never received that kind of service by any of the other hotels Many thanks again guys I swear you’re the best of the best for the kind of night that I’ve passed whit you

Could be bit more clean but it’s totally ok for the price that I’ve paid I’m very happy with that

In the first night we had a problem with the temperature in the room...it was very cold,but we asked for help and the problem solved.. Unstable wifi.

The place: it's very close to the centraal and the Bus station and the staff is very helpful & friendly

The toilet is very tight, no hot water and the hotel has no breakfast

From train station bruxelles north there are a lot of drug dealers before you reach hotel. Best to travel during the day and not to get out at night

Location is very convenient and very quiet area, perfect to have a good rest. Very affordable!
