For a place to rest your head and have a quick breakfast for max 3-4 nights, I think this is perfect. The breakfast was good. They had a nice range of warm (eggs, bacon, baked beans) and cold options (cold cuts, tomatoes, cucumber, muesli, yogurt, milk), but the options are quite small and it's the same everyday, so that's why if you stay for a short time, it's ok but for longer, you might get bored. The reception area also has a bar and playroom area. Lots of people were mingling there in the evening and it had nice vibes. Staff are nice, helpful and excellent. Room is small, quiet and clean. No closet. Just hangers, attached to the wall. Bed was nice and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. The AC could be adjusted (I read somewhere, it couldn't be turned off for some, but that wasn't the case for me). Location is great, just 5 mins from Dammport train station and about 20 mins walk to the center to see all the Cathedrals and sights (Gravensteen, etc). Again, if you stay for a short period and just need a place to rest your head, price-quality ratio is great. However, if you stay longer and want a range of options, may not be best for you.

Breakfast could have had more options, especially the yoghurt (lactose-free or soya) and more fruits other than apple and orange. A bowl mix of already cut fruits would have been great addition. And since it's Belgium, it would have been nice to have waffles

Perfect location for us, very close to the train station and in walking distance from town centre. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, children loved the Table Tennis and games in the reception area. Room was small but very clean and beds were comfortable. They also do lovely cocktails in the bar, we have not tried the food. I would happily stay there again.

Slightly odd layout of the hotel, one needs to go outside (via covered walkway) to get to the certain rooms from the main reception area. We visited in the summer, so this was not an issue, I do not know if it gets enclosed in the winter.

The Hotel had everything needed for an overnight or short stay. There was a bar, food for those who wanted it and breakfast. The walk into the centre was about 15/20 minutes away and easy to find. Rooms were basic but you do not need luxuries for an overnight stay. Breakfast options were good ie; continental or English with fruit, cerials and pastries.

Car parking was 18Euro for 1 night which is taking advantage of customers. The car park is underground but not secure as anyone could walk down into it or walk into the hotel and get a lift down to it. Bar prices were not cheap either when a short walk into the city gives far better options. All purchases are only by card as it is a cashless environment.

Convenient hotel approx. 20-25 minutes walk from the city center and 5 minutes walk from train station. Someone can be affraid because of the location but it was ok. A lot of people and tourists are going to the train station, so you are not alone. :) The staff was friendly. There is possibility of luggage storage in locker by parking for 2 € (if you don't have cash, you can pay by card at reception and they will give you 2€ coin).

The room is quite small. However it is ok for 1 night stay.

accommodated in new building which was very nice, visible its new, everything super nicely clean, nice buffet for breakfast, great area, close to train station or to the center. reception staff very friendly. no sounds from outside neither from next rooms. AC, wifi working perfectly

the water pressure could be better for shower and flushing. constructions in neighborhood are not hotel’s fault but of course it was a bit pity. next time looking forward to see the area done and more calm :) its a pity there is no kettle in the room

Comfy bed, basic, quiet, clean room. Nice to have the bar, restaurant and some games available on the first floor. Tasty breakfast.

The location was a bit far from public transportation. It's right near a train station, but there's so much construction, I couldn't take a train from there and had to take a bus. Walking around that area is kind of unclear and difficult. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful. But one woman behind the bar seemed impatient and a bit rude.

It wasn't obvious to us before traveling to the hotel that the location was quite central to the center of Ghent, it was all easily within walking distance and we did not need to use public transportation. The small room was well designed, the small partition between the beds was good in prevent reading light from glaring over to the other bed & the narrow rod & shelf hanging system for the clothing was very efficient. The plastic stools also doubled nicely as side tables.

You could hear the rumble of conversation from the downstairs lobby/eating area at night.

Perfect location: close to the train station and the city centrum. Clean and recently renovated room. Helpful staff available 24/7. Very good breakfast. Room was small but enough for our standard.

Cold in the breakfast zone, because it was next to the sliding door for the garden and people constantly went in/out. Staff had to check and confirm 3 times if my booking was payed or not (they were confused by their own system). They were renovating their second building, so we had construction noise over the day.

Great location close to town (quick cycle or walking distance) Outside the low emission zone, and we could park our campervan on the road at parking meter or vehicles under 2.1m high could park in the multi story carpark at the hotel. Friendly staff and onsite gym, bar and table tennis table were a bonus.

Breakfast was all you can eat for 15 euro but limited choice for a vegan and no cheaper option. There is a discounted price for kids at breakfast which is good.

Was only there to sleep, really, but it was a very nice hotel - very 'boutique' feel to the lobby, with bar games and a nice bar area. Even when the bar is shut, you can buy beer from the small 'shop' located in the lobby - they had a nice selection of canned Belgian ales. The bedroom was small but very well appointed - nice shower and good selection of channels on the TV. The hotel is very close to Dampoort station, so ideal if you are arriving or leaving there.

All good!
