The room was huge and cozy, you won't feel any cold even if it's that big. It's under the street level but it has a good light from outside. It has a big bathroom with washing machine and dryer, I didn't use them btw. You have a free park outside the building inside a private garage underground.

Be careful using the parking outside, it's very expensive if you stay for long. So plan you arrive with Franky so you can put the car in the garage.

Perfect location, very comfortable, loads of space for the family, 1 minute from tram, 5 mins walk to the city centre. great facilities, hair drier, fridge, microwave and lovely coffee machine! The host Franky was very welcoming and nice. He was very helpful during our holiday. Private parking was a brilliant perk.

Franky as a host, parking garage next door, size of the room, nice coffee machine, extremely well situated for sightseeing. Really good accomodation.

The room is in a basement - its not too dark or damp or anything, just should maybe be stated on the booking site info (if it is, I apologise for not noticing). Also, the bathroom is detached from the room - its literally 1.5 away but you need to leave the room, enter the hallway and then enter the bathroom. Not ideal for people who prefer walking around in their natural wardrobe :)

A very large room with three double beds which could sleep up to six people. Lots of storage, large tv, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. The host Frankie was very helpful and friendly. Location is convenient five minutes walk into the old town. This is an ideal room for a family of budget conscious group of friends.

The room is a semi basement without any outside view. Ceilings are low and bathroom although large and private is reached by leaving the room.

The room was huge with many beds and there were just 2 of us. Loved the large bathroom with fridge. It was very hot so being undergrounx with aircon was perfect. Very close to castle and metro. Met Franky and he is a very friendly helpful guy. Our best stay so far in our trip in Europe. Totally recommended.

Nothing it was perfect

B&B (European Inn) run by a friendly host. Gravensteen Castle can be reached in 5 minutes on foot and the city center can be reached in less than 10 minutes. The B&B is semi-basement, with a very spacious bedroom for 5-6 people, a sofa for 4 people, a round table for comfort, and also a coffee machine to serve you delicious coffee for free. The bathroom was spacious and clean, but it was separated from the outside, and the door sound was too loud every time I went in and out of the bathroom, so it was a bit inconvenient to use it in many ways. It was nice to be able to park for free in front of the building, but it is not always guaranteed, so if there is no empty parking space, parking may be difficult, so we was anxious until we arrived at the B&B.

the Host offered us coffee and was very kind & helpfull! the property was very big, the beds were very comfy, its perfect for groups that want to spend more time together because the living room & the beds are in one room. the location of the room is super close of the city and that makes it very nice, and the price for such a central accomodation you arent able to find something better!

I booked the room during the Gent music festival. It is 10 minutes walk from the heart of the festival (city center) meanwhile in a quite region. The room was clean, well equipped. Franky (the host) gave me all the info about the Gent, Bruges and also the festival program. I enjoyed my stay and certainly it would be the first place I will try to book for next trip to Gent. I totally recommend it.

The apt was clean, comfortable and spacious! The bathroom was more than big enough! Lots of local reading materials, TV worked with bonus Netflix, excellent coffee machine, good size fridge and just a really amazing host! Parking garage available. Really loved this apt and its locaton and I would definitely try to stay there again!

Great location, super nice and quick communication so that was helpful. Close to the center (walking distance)

Bathroom wasn’t in the room (very close though) and also there was a party at night so that was not so nice.
