This is an atmospheric hotel with historic flavor. Because of the antique staircases, people with limited mobility could ask for a room on a lower floor. From my side, I enjoyed walking these staircases which are well illuminated. Upon our arrival, the staff very friendly helped to carry upstairs my rather bulky suitcase. The shower, the beds, and the rest are lovely. The location is very good, and the breakfast is nice, fresh breads, coffee, jams, cheeses, et cet. I like a way to boil your own breakfast egg using an eggcooker. If you are tired of identical chain hotels, this is a place to stay in Liege.

Great staff, modern and cozy design both inside and outside of the rooms, very spaceous rooms, great (massive) bed, only a 2 min. walk from restaurants and bars despite being absolutely quiet at night! Travel to other cities (e.g. Brussels or Maastricht) is also very easy and doable from here.

Small improvement point; While breakfast was very well attended to (e.g. fresh eggs made on demand in your preferred style), the amount of options of things to choose from were noticeable less compared to a large hotel chain. It's totally fine, and they're 75% of the way there already, it'd just be nice to have a bit more variety!

Good location next to the university area, cathedral and old town. The hotel was a quiet haven in the middle of a fairly bustling area. The staff were very helpful. The room had good facilities. The building as a whole had a rustic and historic charm in addition to its modern features.

Some of the electric switches in the room were rather over-engineered with the result that you'd need a PhD to be able, for instance, to use the air-conditioning/heating. Did not partake of breakfast is it was very expensive.

All of the little comforts were present in this renovated hotel. The family room was perfect for our family of four. Our room had a queen bed and a full bathroom with a loft upstairs that had two twin beds and a half bath. Mini bar and coffee in the room. The location was perfect for walking through the downtown and visiting the Christmas markets. City parking a couple blocks away was very affordable when booked through the hotel. Breakfast was slightly expensive at 19€ per person but if you want to save money they provide a lighter breakfast option of coffee and pastries for less.

The hotel has a lot of character, while being in perfect condition. Breakfast was pretty nice, and the common area where we have it is great. the room was bigger than I expected, thanks to a good space layout. The little box of high quality chocolates in the room was a nice touch, as well as the original art on the walls

The fancy light switches take a while to figure out, to be honest. But I guess that’s minor. The front door is phenomenally heavy and is a little stuck, likely a bit sagged so it scrapes on the ground. My pregnant wife or my elderly mother would likely not have been able to get in without help. This definitely needs a look into, for the sake of the less mobile.

Very nice building, lovely combination of old and new elements. Very beautiful room, comfortable bathroom. The free to use umbrellas were a nice touch. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Cozy hearth place at the entrance.

The breakfast was mostly very good, with for instance very good cheese and jam. However, the croissants could have been better, a pity since the neighbourhood has very good bakeries.

The location, staff helpfulness, and hospitality were all excellent, and as an architect and graphic designer couple, the overall design and attention to detail created a delightful and inspiring aesthetic product. We would recommend this hotel; to anyone visiting Liege. John Bower and Petra Lay

There was nothing to dislike. Even the stairs - which at our age were a bit of a challenge, were worth the trade-off aesthetic appeal and the receptionist delightfully helped us with our luggage and recommended a superb restaurant for our evening meal.

The mixture of old wood and modern industrial architecture and furnishings is wonderful. The staff absolutely first-rate (especially the person on breakfast, thank you !!) Rooms really quiet despite the central location A great all-round experience

Clean, quiet, big room, everything worked. Reception girls were great.

Lighting not very bright. Steps to 2nd floor scary. Neighborhood was safe but most roads torn up for new tram system. Unfortunately, lots of litter in the streets and sidewalks

The ambience and the feeling of a safe environment was very pleasant. The rooms were really tight and had a nice scent to it.
