I had to leave before breakfast time, so the staff managed to prepare a early breakfast for me, that was lovely! Clean rooms with good size. Near a lot of restaurants and to liege guillemins. Staff were super friendly.

The shower was not working very well, it kept falling. Also, the part in front of it was always wet, it should be a mat or something there. I had to book two rooms because I decided to stay one more day, first room was good, but the second one had no plugs and the water from the shower was not heating, I had to ask for access to the shared bathroom to shower.

Atmosphere, location.

The shower, ecofriendly they say, but give you big irritation . One of the meaning of holidays is beeing relax, but the showers make one angry , every 5 sec you have to push the button, lets say you have soap on your face and cant find the button, so they have to do something with this ecofriendly showers , make you shower longer and at the end is not ecofriendly anymore.

Central location to all areas of Liège, staff were friendly and full of information. Price of the room was great and with breakfast included it’s an easy choice. Beds are comfy and there are plenty of toilets available about the building if you don’t want to go back to your room. Pool table, foosball table, couple of spare computers to use and a small bar in reception makes a nice meeting area before heading out to dinner. Lots of nearby places to eat with a wide range of food choices. Just be aware that most places don’t open till Atleast 6/7.

No cupboard or drawers in the room. I am aware that there is little spare space in the room but saves living out a suitcase or bag for a few days. Just need somewhere to hang some clothes up or hide away.

Everything !!!! Like a dream come true to be staying in a cloister from 1683 is just incredible. With a view of the church out of the window. Loved hearing the church bell chiming. The hostel has been renovated to still show the stunning arches and brickwork. The four bed dorm was super comfy. The bunk beds are made of solid steel, so no noises when you move, also the top bunk is high enough that you can sit on the bottom bunk comfortably. The bathrooms have great showers, basins and toilets, never had to wait to use any of the facilities. The facilities downstairs are really great. Quite a few seating areas, pool table, vending machine, plus a bar to buy snacks and drinks. Not that you need to buy snacks as their breakfast is one of the best I have had on my whole Belgium trip. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very centrally located. Walked to the river, over the bridges and you are in the centre of town. Quite a few supermarkets right near the hostel, to buy food to prepare yourself in the communal kitchen or buy from the many restaurants right outside.

We liked the central positioning of the hostel close to the city centre by walking. The room was a good size for our family of 5, our young kids were delighted to discover what a youth hostel is. The cleanliness was OK, the accommodations were according to our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving hints on how to discover the city and where to go. The breakfast in the morning was diverse and of good quality.

Some small cleanliness issues on the bed and walls. The rest was according to expectations.

Enjoyed our stay in 4 bed (2 bunkbeds) room with 2 persons. Clean bedlinens to make your own bed, towels to rent or bring your own, remove your own sheets after stay. Simple but comfortable furnishings (lockers in room, two small desks. Toilet separate from bathroom. Excellently located on Outremeuse, within walking distance of city center and old town. Many eateries around the corner. Bar and vending machines on premises. Kind staff, bagage storage before check-in and after check-out. Excellent and affordable stay. Breakfast included with vegan milk and vegan yoghurt, fresh fruits, juices etc. Despite 32 celsius temperatures, the room was comfortable, not too hot.

Would have preferred a duvet cover instead of sheet. When sleeping with a sheet, people touch the duvets and duvets are most likely not washed between guests.

I would like to begin this review by saying that it's difficult for me to give an accurate review of the hostel as, for the one night I stayed there, it was a live music venue for the lead-up to the 15rh August celebrations. The communal area was crowded with outsiders and the pool tables were covered - but it was a large area and looked comfortable! The hostel's location, just across the river from the main part of the Old Town, was excellent - and it was right in the heart of the festival (with a funfair right outside the door and the main stage a couple of minutes' walk away). Everything was clean, my 10-bed dorm - which had its own balcony - was only half full (so I managed to grab a bottom bunk) and the bed was comfortable - once I actually got there! The wi-fi worked well too. Breakfast was included and my only (minor) gripe was that the choice of cereals provided - some kind of star-shaped thing or chocolate clusters - didn't include a healthy option.

If there was a communal kitchen here, I didn't find it. Although the dorm had its own private toilets and showers, these were just outside the door of the dorm, meaning that it was imperative not to forget one's keycard. I would add that, although this is not the best hostel in which I've ever stayed (although it is one of the better ones), it was the best night I've ever had a in hostel, with live music until 2am (I just wish I could have been there on the previous evening, as Blues'n'Rock night is more my style than cover bands).

The reception staff when I arrived in the afternoon were very helpful and friendly and allowed me to store my car tow box securely inside the building. I travelled with my teenage kids and we all found the hostel very pleasant and enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for the city centre. I booked on the day of travel without realising there wasn't a parking option, but when I arrived it turns out there are plenty of areas to street park nearby, bear in mind the secure parking options are about 10 minutes away on foot, but you can easily park outside to pack and unpack your luggage.

Breakfast was OK, although very basic.

Wonderful welcome from the girl on reception with blonde hair/glasses. She put me at ease straight away and made sure I was clear on everything. Loved being able to check in early and this meant I could relax for the rest of my day. Room was huge (private triple) with lots of natural light and lovely church view. There was even a balcony although I couldn't get the door to open so don't know whether this was intended? Maybe it's summer months only? Bed was comfortable. Sheets clean. Towel I rented for 1.50 EUR. Shower hot. Plenty of charging sockets including near bed. Breakfast included in the price with 3/4 different fresh bread varieties, 2/3 cheeses, 3 cold cut meats, fresh fruit, 3 cereal varieties (with vegan milk options), hard boiled eggs, apple/orange juice from the machine, coffee from the machine (not very nice but I am a coffee snob) etc. Overall, very nice and tasty & set me up for the day! A good, clean, safe hostel about 15 minutes walk to the centre and a winding 30/40 minute walk along the river to/from the train station. Felt the price/quality ratio was just right & would definitely stay again!

Just the coffee! Everything else was great.

That'a pretty good hostel (I stayed in a dorm). It's cheap and located in 10-minute walk from the city center. There's plenty room for guests in a lobby where you can seat and work with your laptop, or drink a beer and play table tennis or kicker (they have all those things, bar with some drinks included). Wi-Fi connection was good. The staff is super friendly. Apart from that, I liked the material of mattress & pillow. It's very soft and is probably made of artificial leather. My room price included a breakfast, which is super cool. It was nice — nothing too special, just a small buffet with some vegetarian options (unfortunately, it isn't suitable for vegans, except for some fruits).

It was a pretty solid experience for its price. However, the dorm room is pretty basic. I saw just one storage for personal belongings with some sort of lockers, but I didn't understand how it works without someone's help. The showers/toilets are outside the room (which is OK) and often dirty.
