Room was good and we had no problems with noice, unlike our friends on floor 1 that had a bad night due to a party close to their room. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choices, and while if you come too late on Sunday morning it can be very crowded, they clearly warned about that via a leaflet at the reception and in the room.

It was surprizing to hear the major difference in price we paid compared to friends having booked a room (similar type as ours) for the same evening ... almost everyone of our party of 7 couples had another room rate (some booked via booking, others via another platform), but we had paid most of all ...

The room was very clean, a nice bathroom with a modern shower, and enough towels for the whole family. There was a coffee machine with cups and tea. Very comfortable mattress and big bed. The duvet was big which was good cause none of us like to sleep without it. There was air conditioning which is standard I hope and lucky us cause it was a really hot weekend.

I was expecting more from a four star hotel. Sockets weren't working, the ones next to bed, which was uncomfortable to plug phones with morning alarms. Also the socket where the coffee machine was plugged in wasn't working. We needed to put a coffee machine on the floor next to the working socket. The shower floor was very slippery so we weren't able to shower our 2 year old daughter cause she fell during the shower. It would also be nice if we could use the netflix app on the TV. We have our own membership but we couldn't log in cause the app isn't working - but it's not the most important thing, obviously.

I liked the hotel's location and the fact that they have parking lot which I could leave my car even after checking out without paying any extra. I also loved they let me do 2h late checkout without extra payment.

I didn't like the lifts are at the end of the hotel and my room was at the beginning on the third floor, and I had to go all the way to the end to take the lift and go back all the way to the beginning. I also expected more in the breakfast. There were a few things to eat. I've already stayed at other Mercures and the breakfasts were quite different, usually with more options.

Parking behind the building, well accessible. You can also park on the street in front of the hotel for free. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was a nice view overlooking the river, the bathroom was clean and modern. Large Fitness room with enough machines.the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated

Breakfast was not up to the standard which you expect in Mercure hotel

The breakfast was very good indeed - a large and interesting selection, and certainly good value. Also, the Courtyard / outside space was really very charming, with plenty of character, tables and seating. The location is also very good, right on the river, and the view from our room was lovely. But the stand-out was the Restaurant, which was superb - I had one of the best steaks I've eaten, and the wine was excellent.

The only downside is that there is a lot of building work going on immediately outside the hotel, to build a new underground line. There wasn't any work on during our stay, as it was a weekend, but it did mean we couldn't walk along the river, which we had hoped to do. This is obviously beyond the control of the hotel, but it might be an issue during the week.

This is my third stay already in this hotel and I'm happy to notice that the standards have stayed high. The same elegant rooms and public spaces, the overall cleanliness and the helpful personnel I have been used to from my previous stays here. The hotel restaurant is quite a fancy spot, reservation is needed in advance. The hotel also owns a small, but carefully manicured interior garden, a perfect shelter on a hot summer day.

The building and staff were very helpful. The breakfast was also very good. And parking was able to make me feel more comfortable

There was a lot of construction and the area surrounding the hotel is very chaotic. Additionally, the entrace to the room was a small zigzag that made movement carrying things difficult.

Nice hotel, comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious.

The parking was busy and spots were a bit tight, we took the last spot (arrived around 8pm). The bathtub was designed for taking baths over taking shower so it is not very comfortable.

Lovely ambience Stylish decor Excellent facilities Friendly and helpful staff

Too far from the town centre involving a 20+ minute walk I chose the hotel because Booking.com said it was 200m from the centre which it clearly is not
