The staff was very helpful (and kind) and came to action when we had a problem with the acoustic of the bedroom - we got immediately a new room and they even gave us the possibility to choose among 2 or 3 options (of course we were lucky that there were bedrooms available). Location of the hotel is perfect!

The first bedroom was quite small for the option I had, and the acoustic was horrible. We could hear the guests next door softly talking. When we brought this to the attention of the manager they immediately solved it. This bedroom's phone was not working (silly, but you still need it for reception and room service) and instead of 4 we had 2 pillows. those kind of details. I think it was just bad luck, based on the quality of the second bedroom.

I booked this hotel for my parents in law. They were set on staying in Brussels, but we convinced them to stay over in Mechelen as it's a lot closer to where we live (and safer for them to wander around in). The stay would have to be great for them to be satisfied. And luckily, it was and Hotel Vé even exceeded all expectations! The room was very large, comfy and it had a beautiful design. You can also discover little bits and pieces of history about the building while walking through the halls; it's got a very original concept. They loved it and Mechelen city as well!

friendly and hospitable staff, top floor room, soft beds, free apples and chocolate coins! and good soap/shampoo, beautiful structure as they maintained some of the features of what it used to be. a place where you can still see history

no toothbrush kit provided in our room, the shower drain was partially clogged because the water builds up and won't go down, have to pause my shower to let the water down first. Neighboring room had noisy guests too

The place is very nice, clean and perfectly located for a few days in the town. The rooms are nice and comfy and the place has a great look. The breakfast seemed a bit expensive for the offered variety but the food they do have was good. It would have been nice with more warm food than just an omelet station where it took 5-10 minutes before it was ready. And this is only if you get there when there is no queue. The spa was nice but small.

parking: do not follow the gps to this place. We ended in a back alley, where you get a city fine for entering, have to back out and cannot park. Book the Lamot parking (pre book worked well) and go there and be ready to carry your luggage for a 3-4 minute walk. spa: Note that there are no lockers or changing room, which can be awkward. Also no towels so bring one or ask for one before entering.

Very spacious room and friendly staff, the wellness spa is nice for a refresh in the morning.

Mattress topper wasn't very comfortable and room has some unusual features 5 chairs around the room and water easily overflows and sprays out of the shower. Lighting is a bit poor as it comes from mostly lamps around the room.

The Decor in the hotel was really nice. Breakfast was superb. So much choice and no pressure to free tables up so leisurely breakfast could be taken

I was in room 16 and it was very dark due to the fact there was no outside view/light. I would not stay in this room or probably any of the ground floor rooms on my next visit for this reason

The wellness in the morning was great! The location is perfect too.

We couldn't open a window in the room (there was airco, but for during the night some fresh air from outside would have been good). The breakfast during the week is only until ten, and we came at a busy time when all the cutlery/plates were already all taken (I think they were a little understaffed for a holiday/bridge day). So you have to plan this a little bit/take it into account when it is not the weekend.

Great location of the hotel, good food and service at the restaurant, very friendly and helpful personnel. Overall very positive impression from the hotel! Highly recommended!

Excellent. Beds, excellent location, very good breakfast but the lady taking care of the eggs was overwhelmed. Interesting city, but be careful about the shoes you wear, the cobblestones ( we walked a lot, you cannot get anywhere by car) were very hard on our feet!

The noise of slamming doors from rooms nextdoor in the morning. And loud speaking cleaning - people in the morning. Noise - isolation is rather bad.
