Great room with a comfy bed. We didn't have those beautiful headboards like in the pictures, but it was nice. The coffee machine, safe and fridge - everything was working and clean. Great location on a quiet street, just 5 min walk from a cheap parking... The city centre was less than a 5 min walk away. Amazing locations! Especially, when the roadworks will end :)

The breakfast selection was pretty small, it wasn't worth its price. You get much better quality and choice in any cafe just a 4-minute walk away from the hotel. There is very little space to store your suitcase and clothes in the room.

Lovely building and the room was a great size. Bed was comfortable. Good shower. Water supplied in mini fridge. Location is also good. Easy to walk to city. But getting to hotel by car was difficult.

Took a long time to find hotel by car. So many closed roads and special driving limitations. Would be good if that was registered via the hotel site. We ended up parking in a garage that was 5 min walk whereas took us 30 mins going around in circles by car. We did not take breakfast as feel 23 euro per person a little overpriced. Only a coffee machine in the room. Nothing for tea drinkers.

Unique location - the "old charmes" of the church are very well blended with modern facilities for a relaxing sphere in the hotel. Very hospitable personnel - much credits to them! Very neat and clean facilities both in the public area and your room. Definitely a recommendation!

The bubble bath is a disappointment. Based on the room description, the hotel sphere and 4-star rating, I expected a relaxing space in the room to enjoy the bubble bath. No pictures of the bubble bath are on the site (at least I could not find) so when you enter the room, it is disappointing to see that it is just like a regular bath in a basic bleak, relatively tiny bathroom. This is much in contrast with the unique room / hotel sphere. If you want to use the bubble bath as relaxing time, this will most likely not suit your expectations.

The hotel's location is excellent. We stayed in the church area and the rooms were exactly as described. The hotel is really beautiful and met our expectations.

Cleanliness is not top. The toilet seat was not completely clean when we arrived and 2 of the towels had large stains. The floor in the breakfast area was very sticky both days that we stayed. If these issues were not there I could have easily given the hotel a 9/10.

The hotel is built out of a deconsecrated church and is interesting for that alone. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. And the hotel is just a short walk away from the town’s main attractions.

However, I thought the room was overpriced and the car parking charges excessive. Thinking back, I’d say that a fair price would be 50% less than the total charged to me. So, a good hotel, but not worth Euro 200+ for a standard room.

Loved the modern four poster bed and the design of the building. Didn't have the breakfast but it smelt amazing. Room was compact but had everything we needed especially bottles of water and proper coffee. Staff were incredible and the bar was well stocked.

Breakfast seemed quite expensive.

The whole hotel within the church is beautifully executed. We upgraded to an executive room, the bed was big and comfortable, the bubble bath is huge and a great way to unwind after walking around all day.

the bathroom layout is a bit unfortunate, sliding door right next to the bed, toilet is immediately at the door, a little awkward, as there is also no separate ventilator for the bathroom. The airco unit was so noisy it sounded like roadworks outside. Had to turn it off to sleep.

the main hall and the location in general were great .

We we very disappointed with the room. Old fournitures. little space in the room. this hotel shows on her internet site how beautiful their rooms are but there are a few of those. We have had a standart 3 stars room. nowhere on there site they are showing this kind of rooms. We we really so disappointed. Too much money for their standarts.

The great thing about this hotel is that it does indeed retain the character of the church throughout. Our room included at least two vaults and a fantastic view of one of the stain glassed windows. Moreover, the room was modern and we slept very well indeed. You can guarantee a fabulous stay here. We would certainly stay here again if we come back to Mechelen.

I liked my room, make sure to stay in the church area. It was big and with a minibar, very comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast area is amazing.

I went to reception to say I wanted to take the breakfast, the guy asked me "if I was staying there" I said yes OF COURSE (why would I ask for the breakfast if I was not staying there?) well it wasn't enough, he then asked me for my room number, then he did not check anything on the system, so basically he didn't believe me? Or he is not used to see somebody dressed informal or younger than 40 in that hotel? He was polite however he made me feel uncomfortable.
