We had a lovely stay. The location is great, very easy to travel to Bruges and Ghent whilst being in a more peaceful area. The room was quiet, very clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. It was a lovely touch to be able to try some local produce whilst sitting in the terrace overlooking farmland. Ingrid was very helpful giving recommendations with things to see in Bruges, where to park and offering drinks on arrival. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend. Thank you!

The extra charge for parking in such a rural area.

The breakfast experience was unique, the location was calm outside hustle and bustles of big cities and close to a genuine nature.

Charged 10 euro per night for just putting our car in the open area in front of the building. There was no proper parking space with ceiling at the property. That was why, being charged did not really make sense to me. In addition, did not see this anywhere during the booking.

The hotel is lovely and clean with a homely feel. The lady that runs the hotel is very welcoming and has lots of information and tips for the local area. The room was a good size and has everything that you need. The real stand out was the food - we had dinner and breakfast and the quality of the food was outstanding. All homemade and very delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

The hospitality of the owner makes you feel right at home. The location and the whole area around were amazing. Seemed like a very romantic place and it would have been for us too if we weren’t so busy catering to the needs and wants of our toddlers.

There was a strong stagnant water smell at night and the jacuzzi was extremely loud.

The place is unique and quirky (which we love!). The room was a great size, it had a great bathtub (not common in my stays in Europe) and it was just off our route close to a cute town. We signed up for breakfast after reading great reviews and it didn't disappoint. Lovely fresh bread, sliced meat, delicious french and local cheeses, some pastries, eggs and pot of tea/coffee. AND dog friendly!

Beautiful rural surroundings, peaceful and comfortable hotel in a small village. Good location for day trips to Ostend and Bruges. Lovely to sit outside with a drink overlooking fields. Ingrid was very helpful in arranging a doctor's visit for me. Delicious, varied breakfast and home- cooked supper. Would like to return.

Everything was wonderful - the hotel had beautiful details no matter where you looked. It felt homey. The breakfast was delicious and special with many homemade items. Pate and meat-n-jelly were to die for! We stayed in the Clockmakers room which was very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy. We enjoyed some wine in the backyard and took a stroll to a nearby lake. We only spent one night there, it was not enough time! :) Hope to be back again sometime and to learn about the history of the home and the owners.

the room was heating up a bit. There was a good AC in the room, yet it would have been nice to also have lighter bedcovers for the warm nights.

Location was in the country and yes there were cows grazing in the field while we ate a delicious breakfast with local cheeses and home made breads and smoked salmon as well as home cured bacon with the scrambled eggs. A good variety teas and coffees. The evening meal was a based on fish in a lots of different ways. We had John Dory with Hollandaise sauce with potatoes carrot mix and creamy cabbage. The dessert was a choice of chocolate mouse and cream brûlée and something else with coffee and mints . A deep sleep was had in a King sized bed and a refreshing shower with hot water to wake up to. A good stop to end our break

Nothing to mind

This B&B style hotel is located in a very nice, tranquil place, deep in a farmland. It is ideal for those who travel with a pet. The host, Ingrid was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, which was served with excellent local products.
