My husband absolutely loved the staff at the Red Hut Inn. Julia the manager was extremely nice, she took care of all our needs, meals, exchanging money, directions, you name it. This lady was great. Her husband and chef Lewis was a delight to chat with and his meals were nothing short of amazing. Great customer service always stands out above all else and Julia and Lewis have that quality in spades. Highly recommend.

If your looking for a 5 star hotel the Red Hut Inn is not is not for you, but if your looking for clean, comfortable with amazing meals great conversation and amazing onsite mangers then stay at the Red Hut Inn, you won't be disappointed.

We really liked the friendliness of the staff, Julia and Lewis are great. The young housekeeper is shy but very nice. We loved the fact that meals were offered at great price and all questions about the Belize and the city were answered in great detail. When you travelling you want accurate information and the Red Hut provided that and more. They even offer pick up and drop off at the airport. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Our first stay we were on the ground floor which was great, but this visit we were up on the second floor. I like ground floor better, it was much quieter.

Lovely warm welcome as soon as we arrived, felt comfortable and at home. Bedroom spacious with great AC, communal terrace made it easy to chat to other travellers. Beers in the fridge for purchase and an amazing breakfast in the morning, also drove us to the water taxi station the next day. Not much around, although did have a good dinner in a nearby restaurant and there's a supermarket close by, but perfect for us! Would highly recommend for a home from home feeling :)

Very personable employees! Our king size bed was comfortable. Fridge in the room worked, so we walked a couple of blocks away and got food to eat and drinks. The breakfast was top notch! Food was tasty and presentation was so excellent for all you food photographers.

TV did not work. You had to have a separate password for your internet/phone depending on where you were in the building (upstairs or main floor)

Lewis and Julia went out of their way to ensure everyone’s needs were met. the breakfasts were wonderful (I’m sure the dinners were too but I just eat breakfast and lunch). they took me to and from various places I either wanted or needed to go to; always at my schedule - and they were just nice people to boot!

There’s nothing not to like about the property itself as it’s very welcoming, you will likely need a taxi, which they provide, if you’re going to go anywhere.

We stayed here for one night after arriving in Belize before we headed to Placencia the next day. The hotel staff were super friendly and gave us some good advice for stops on our drive the next day, walking distance to a little store and a couple restaurants, short drive to a large supermarket. The room was comfortable, clean, reasonably priced, and had a fridge which was really nice. Felt safe.

Really enjoyed my one night stay here. It was quiet and the breakfast was great. I was fortunate enough to run into some other like minded travelers and it made the trip even better. Staff were super nice and considerate and all around very helpful. I'd stay here again without even a second thought. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location for us in a very quiet and safe area. Great to walk the dogs early in the morning. Everything was provided for us including a delicious home made pizza on our arrival The owners could not have done anything more for us. Very helpful and friendly.

Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood there is a pleasant, friendly vibe but also serious attention to details affecting the health and comfort of their customers. In-house prepared dinners and breakfasts are a nice touch: the spaghetti and meatballs were very good.

The shower hardware is functional but needs to be updated.

The room wasn't that big, but it's clean, comfortable and feels simple. It's equipped with AC, clean bathroom with cold and hot shower. I enjoyed the dinner the most. Luis is a good chef. Julia will make you feel like home, and the staffs are friendly and efficient.

Honestly, I did love everything during my stay at The Red Hut Inn.
