Best location in Rio, the only hotel on the beach. Great views from the hotel.. Amazing ambience .Staff were great and accommodating Room was spacious and comfortable , nice breakfast as well. Will fully recommend

Our accidental stay at Hotel Arpoador turned out to be the highlight of our time in Rio. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enchanted by the thoughtful design and attention to detail evident in every corner of the hotel. The amenities exceeded our expectations, with everything from plush towels to stylish trash bins reflecting the hotel's commitment to excellence. The food at the hotel's restaurant was nothing short of marvelous, prompting us to forgo our plans elsewhere and return for every meal. The inclusion of breakfast, morning yoga sessions, a well-equipped gym, pool access, and a dedicated beach area with complimentary towels made our stay all the more enjoyable and hassle-free. However, what truly sets Hotel Arpoador apart is its exceptional service. The staff members are not only friendly and outgoing but also remarkably attentive, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and relaxed. Special mention must go to the team at the rooftop bar, whose hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evenings, and to Paulo Thiago, whose exceptional service left a lasting impression. That we stayed only one night

Location was perfect for anyone who wants to walk Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The staff is top grade. They were attentive, kind, and efficient. Rooms were small but cozy. The food was great at the hotel. And the restaurant is just awesome to hang out and rest your feet during. Long day exploring.

The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours in the hall at night. If you’re a light sleeper you will be woken up by people coming home late and talking in the halls. Wear ear plugs and you’ll be fine. The spa is a bit oversold for what it is: a room with two massage tables.

A very cool hotel. Perfect location in the corner of Ipanema, ideal for surfing. Modern, lovely food, best breakfast we had in Rio. Friendly and helpful staff.

Our bedroom was well equipped but a bit small, next time we will book a room overlooking the beach with a balcony.

We loved everything about this property. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and professional. The location is perfect and the property itself is beautiful. Loved the rooftop deck and bar, and the restaurant - inside and on the patio. When we visited, the A/C was out in the rooms, and they offered to cancel free of charge or give us a 30% discount. We took the discount. The room temperature was actually pretty comfortable even though it was hot outside. Highly highly recommend this place!!

We had a truly fabulous time at Hotel Arpoador and would go back in a heartbeat! Keila on reception is AMAZING and needs to be protected at all costs! She was so helpful with the multiple questions we had for her on a daily basis. We didn't run into one "bad" staff member across the property Location is perfect for Ipanema and Copacabana, as well as anywhere else you need to get to in Rio off the Metro. Literally a 4 minute walk to the Metro station The rooms were the cleanest we can across in Rio across multiple trips we've had the to city (or in line with the Fairmont on Copacabana!) Spotify playlist for different moods! WhatsApp concierge! Fabulous breakfast included! Cruiser bikes included! We really loved these little touches Rooftop pool and beach amenities are all fabulous - nothing we could fault in all honesty. I thought the chairs would be uncomfortable but that wasn't the case Toiletries in the room are fantastic and loved that they are local to Brazil

Nothing - the only thing we would say is we booked the smallest room (knowingly!) and we would say if you like space or are a messy traveler would recommend booking a bigger room. If we were to stay again we would book a larger room

Breakfast was terrific and with wide range of hours (until noon). Mattress was very comfortable (and I am picky). Room was a bit small, but we only needed it to sleep. Shower as toiletries good. The pool view is amazing but the pool itself is a bit small/not compatible with the pictures. Location is great, by the beach.

It is a small hotel, I would expect a more personal touch and friendliness/helpfulness of the staff. I understand check-in is at 3pm, but rooms are cleaned one at a time. We arrived at 11am and got the room exactly at 3pm, with a wedding to attend, to which we were late.

Location is amazing as well as rooftop bar and ground floor restaurant they have spectacular views. Breakfast was lovely and staff was extremely helpful and kind. Rooms were clean and generally the hotel is kept up to a very good cleaning standard across the premises.

If you go for the smaller rooms, they are very very small plus the views from the window is air condition units and barbed wire from neighbouring buildings. There is no value for money for this room Category.

We stayed 1 week in this hotel; the staff is very warm, welcoming and assisted us throughout our stay to make it as good as possible. The hotel itself is the best located in Rio, with direct access to the beach and the best view to watch the sunsets. Their breakfasts were very delicious, it was a real delight! A highly recommended hotel to stay at during your visit to Rio with your eyes closed!

everything was perfect. just worth to note that the rooms on the patio side can be slightly noisy due to the air conditioning, but this is switched off at night.
