Very well located, super clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Fasano charges a 5 star price, however; the hotel offers 3 star service. Internet connection is weak, lifts are quite slow and dark, definitely dated lifts. Lack of information at the checking in, they didn’t say about the beach services and rooftop closing time. It ridiculous the hotel charges high prices and breakfast isn’t included. On my arrival I asked for a table at the restaurant and they said the table was available when we got there for dinner for some reason the table wasn’t available anymore. The receptionist said it was a waiting list. They should told us at the first place they were not tables available for that night.

The location was great, right in front of Ipanema beach: the ocean view from the room was breathtaking. The pool area on the rooftop was also very beautiful, with good food, service, and friendly people working there. If you want to go for a trip or sightseeing you have people in the reception that will help you with the best tips, we booked a helicopter tour through the hotel which I highly recommend. Overall a good stay, an absolutely beautiful location, a big room, comfortable bed, very clean room, and some very kind people working there with the best service you could possibly ask for.

Smaller hotel than I expected. Very simple breakfast for the money. Also, the people working there were rude, like they didn't want people to eat there, especially one woman in the reception. Didn't come back after that, you can eat a better breakfast with a more welcoming vibe close by. Furthermore, the gym was very small so do not expect a lot of equipment. Also, a bit of a lack of information about the hotel when checking in, we asked them to show us around and tell us more about the place, but they didn't tell us about the spa or about the beach service, so a few days passed by without knowing about this. Worth the money? To be honest, no, you pay for the oceanfront view mainly, more things should be included for it to be worth it.

We were in room 410 nothing really exciting. Its the most expensive hotel round but the location is excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the black out curtains were great. The pool staff is the best. Jeferson, Wagner, Antonio,Macedo and Lercon the Manager.

We didnt like the breakfast as it was very expensive for what you get. They try and run a 5 star hotel and the staff can be a bit stuffy. We wound up walking to a breakfast place called Gringo Cafe. One of the best breakfast I have ever had.

location was fabulous, felt safe and the views were exceptional

Check-in was not particularly welcoming (polar opposite to the hotel we had just come from). we were early but in spite of one of our rooms being ready, staff were not happy to let us use it and we ended up only being given access at 4.00 pm (one hour later than it should have been, worst case scenario). Concierge Manager and the roof top bar staff made up made up for what was lacking upon arrival and were extremely friendly and efficient.

This was the 3rd hotel we stayed in during our visit to Rio. Everything was amazing. Roof pool was even better than expected and was only busy one time while we were there (and even then only about half the loungers were occupied). Location is perfect. Room was spacious and exactly what we wanted. Very cool design and room felt really private. It is expensive but it’s justified, we found it well worth the money. The room service breakfast was a highlight.

The WiFi kicked me out every day which was annoying as we were told that wouldn’t happen. Language barrier while on the roof bar made it difficult to solve one slight issue. Also found the restaurant (Gero) very overpriced (£90GBP / $120USD for cheese pasta, mushroom risotto, and 2 soft drinks).

The rooftop area was incredible with beautiful views, fantastic pool and sauna. The bedroom design was creative and stunning but becoming dated and worn.

There wasn’t much of a greeting, coming from Janeiro Hotel with impeccable service this just didn’t measure up. The bedroom light switches and other little things look like they need a refresh.

the pool are is beautiful, always a good place to be at, with the view to pedra do arpoador, morro dos dois irmaos, cristo and to praia de ipanema and leblon. there is room service 24 hours, which is great, and it is prepared by Gero. the gym is also opened 24 hours, although it is a very small one and with no view. the location is just amazing. the bedrooms (1st floor) have a decent size, w a cute balcony to the beach of Ipanema. there is a concierge ready to book anything for you, like restaurants and taxi and to discuss about activities. they respond in a timely fashion. the best team/employees are the ones at the door/entrance of the hotel. the guys who call the taxi for you, who opens the door of the car, these guys are suuuuper well polite and pleasant. there was an older one there, he is just flawless.

the gym is small w no view. we stayed on the first floor. the internet in the bedroom is not good. sometimes i started working at 7am sharp, but could only effectively be working and connected after 30 min as it continuously showed that there was no internet, even though i was connected. the bathroom is old and old fashion (not very comfortable shower nor toilet). also, the cleaning was not perfect. paying the amount of money that you pay for staying there, you would expect that there will be no issues w internet connection and that the bathroom is shining.

concierge service was very good. Location right on the beach. Would like to thank the night shift person for changing our room in the middle of the night because of bad behavior of our neighbor and noise problems

The breakfast options were explained to us the day of our departure, because the person who could have explained it to us was not working these days. Not enough english speaking personnel. Which is the case in most of the country.

The room was outstanding. The breakfast was incredible. The room was super comfortable and clean. The bedroom view was amazing and the staff of the hotel was very kind and willing to help/serve! It was amazing!

The only downside is that I could not use the wifi of the hotel, for some reason it would not work at all. Tried my phone, my Mac and the connection just did not work. That was the only downside, I was unable to work from there.

Hotel staff was amazing at all times. They always make sure your holiday is great.

Just a small thing: maybe i would suggest to change the lunch menu with the dinner menu
