Excellent location very close to three different metro stations, fast check in, very comfortable beds and warm room. The breakfast was decent, there wasn't much variety but it was ok. WiFi worked well, the room was quiet and the shower was great. It was an excellent bargain for 50 EUR a night, including breakfast.

The rooms are a bit old, but maintained, breakfast can be improved, the only detail lacking is a restaurant providing service for lunch and dinner and snacks. But overall, I had a very comfortable stay and I will definitely be back.

The location was really good, near two metro stations to cover all 4 metro lines in Sofia and in a nice suburb of the town. The city center is only 15 minutes walk from the hotel.. The breakfast was pretty good and the rooms were comfortable, mine was very large. The staff was helping and nice.

They advertise the hotel with sauna, but it doesn't work. The rooms were not done daily and you had to ask for it to be redone. The wifi was not very stable particularly at night - I needed the connection to complete work for the next day.

As always staying at the Downtown Hotel is a great experience - friendly staff, comfortable, clean and quiet with great facilities. Breakfast is above average with some choices. I always enjoy staying at the hotel as it's great value for money. The staff is accommodating and prepared and always putting the customer first. Every time I had to ask for something (scanning, printing, checking out later) they have always been accommodating and offered great level of service (you will be surprised what service other 4* hotels are like) so this is greatly welcomed. I always book this hotel because I know I can rely on great comfort and customer service. Highly recommend.

The gym / spa area was untidy. Looks like it's not regularly used so it was off their radar. Still gym was small but had all the equipment necessary for a workout with yoga mats, machines, and dumbbells.

The room was spacious, quiet, very comfortable. The beds were clean and nice. The location was extremely good: central well connected to public transportation. The reception was helpful with taxis. Taxis were efficient and the drivers were kind.

Staff were so lovely and helpful. Beautiful cosy old style hotel with a nice restaurant and bar. Good location. Breakfast had plenty of choice including healthy options, authentic bulgarian experience. Couldn't find fault with anything.

Nothing at all, everything met my expectations. I have no complaints, happy with my stay.

The suite we had was excellent, very spacious, nice classic furniture, one shower/ bathroom plus an extra toilet. The location was super central, at the same time very quiet. The staff was very friendly, most of them coming from Ukraine, which was a pleasant surprise. We could also rent a parking space just around the corner. Could not wish for more.

Stephanie at the reception was amazing so kind and helpful.plentiful breakfast.its true it's classic style maybe needs a bit refreshing but it's so much nicer than those modern hotel which are sad and soul less.

The calm atmosphere and the helpful staff made my very short stay a feel of home. I will definitely be staying again,this hotel has the correct people working for the customers.

Absolutely nothing could be better and you get what you pay fore.

The breakfast was really good. The location was perfect - one could walk to most of the central part of the city. There is a metro station quite close to the hotel.

I do not remember disliking anything.

The room, the service, the atmosphere, the decorations of the hotel, and the breakfast were the best that I have experienced in all of my stays in Bulgaria -- even though some others were rated higher and more expensive. I will definitely come back!
