This lovely little Country Inn was the best stop in the area! The hostess was second level- she went well out of her way to be sure any need we had was met. She offered home cooked breakfast in the dining room at your time convenience for freshness. We were unable to meet our 7:30 am booking as we had to head out for a very early hike, so when we canceled the reservation she was concerned that we would not eat and packed us a lovely lunch left in the kitchen fridge for us at our convenience. The Inn itself was furnished with lovely period furniture and a living room and dining room for relaxing and convening. Just perfect!

It was really all very personal and lovely, no complaints whatsoever! At first the shoes off at the front door was a bit surprising but the slippers provided and corresponding cleanliness throughout proved it a great policy!

We opt to stay at Canmore instead of Banff, mainly because of the cost, even tough we focused on the Banff park. We were satisfied with this choice. The inn is very spacious, well-located (if you have a car, of course) and they are worried about the cleaness - the guests need to leave their shoes outside and use slippers provided by the place.

The breakfast is a little too restrictive, as every day the offered meal changes, and it is a little hard to understand what they're serving. One day we got sausages, but my wife skipped them as she is a vegetarian. Other day we got an egg-based meal, but we'd prefer it to be scrambled or fried eggs instead, if we had the option. Suggestion: write it out in a menu/board and give 2-3 options every day. The juices are tasteful, tough. And the staff is really nice.

Very clean. Lovely decor. Friendly & helpful staff. Breakfasts were wonderful. Despite the inn being full, our room was very quiet. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating on our hot summer evenings.

Would have liked a coffee maker in the room, so we didn’t have to go out to the dining room to get some. At least we figured that out in advance, so we brought our own. Also would have been nice if the shared fridge was larger. We were quite warm the first night, and no way to make it cooler - the thermostat was already turned all the way down.

Everything we needed in our room and a lovely lounge and dining area and a warm welcome from the staff. Excellent breakfast each day and hot drinks available at all times from the dining area, plus fridge to use by residents. Very easy to get to from the highway, restaurants nearby on foot or 5 mins drive into Canmore.

Nothing - the accommodation met all our needs. Did put some bottled water in the residents fridge which someone helped themselves too but that's just one of those things and at least they left our beer cans! ;)

Loved the staff - precious girls, very nice and all good cooks. Breakfast was very good. Location was great and very nice views.

For the light sleeper, AC in the Chinook room would probably be a disturbance. Pretty loud. They do have ear plugs, but you would have to be comfortable wearing them. Sink and flush are both low. Room was comfortable and clean, but no drawer or storage space. Probably should have chosen another room for a 6 day stay, but we were satisfied and able to make due.

A lovely modern b and b with old world charm. We had two different rooms and both were nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate a vegan breakfast. We loved our stay.

There is construction going on-site at the moment which was a little noisy from 7.30. You can hear the trains which are only a block away but they do provide ear plugs which helped but every hotel in the area would be the same as rail line dominates these towns.

The room was truly beautiful and immaculately clean, water was lovely and hot, cosy log fire was so relaxing, bed was amazingly comfortable with crisp fresh sheets making a perfect night’s sleep. But the biggest most wonderful thing was the kindness of the staff. Advising I’d be late to check in, they were not only understanding, but on my arrival Alex went above and beyond to help ensure I found the right public bus route (and locate the bus stop) for the next part of my trip the next day. Her kindness I will not forget and I look forward to coming back to stay again in the future. Such a beautiful place to stay.

There was nothing I could fault

We liked the atmosphere. The room was nice and clean. The staff were very nice and friendly. Overall it was a quiet place and we will come and stay again next trip through.

In the room on the upper corner wall right side of the door was a mounted light behind a shield. The light was blinking all night which was quite disturbing when trying to sleep. The tub faucet had a slow drip which was minor but noticable at night as well. It looked to me that the jets on the tub were pretty black with mildew. Definitely unusable if a person wanted to soak in the tub.

Overall, the atmosphere in the place is pleasant, quiet and European

A room with a view of the mountains was ordered, in fact we got a room facing the road. The breakfast is not varied, they prepare a uniform dish for everyone without choice, if you don't like something then they simply don't serve it to you and don't offer a replacement. Although I must point out that the meal is tasty and satisfying.

Breakfast was amazing! We enjoyed a pepper, onion, and ham breakfast egg sandwich with smoothies, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and banana bread. The bed and room was very comfortable. I loved having a deep soaking style tub for after hiking recovery. Staff are 10/10 and amazing!!! Make sure to book a massage or sauna time ahead of your stay, I did not realize these are difficult if not impossible to schedule day of.
