Location was nice right off the main road, had a place to have dinner really close. Was nice to grab a Starbucks in the morning.

We went to take a dip in the outdoor hot tub and only like 2 jets were working and we had to wait for the 2 other people that go there first to leave before we could take their seats and get some jets. The lighting in the rooms is very minimal. And the radiator for the rooms heat is right behind the bed and makes the head of the bed and the pillows very hot…like almost concerningly hot.

This clean and affordable hotel was an excellent value in Jasper. Walking distance to downtown, but not in the clutter of downtown. Spotless room and comfy beds. Right next door is a Starbucks and an amazing restaurant called Evil Dave's, which was my favorite dining experience in Jasper [much nicer and a better price than the highly overrated Terra, which was my worst dining experience in Canada during my recent trip]. The pool and hot tubs were a welcome sight after roaming around the mountains. I highly recommend this hotel in Jasper.

The hotel is built in the motel format, with car ports in front of the rooms. The spot in front of my room was occupied by folks in the room above me on the second floor. At 7 AM, their car alarm[I cannot imagine what paranoid people set the car alarm in this small town] went off. This was my only morning to sleep in later than 6 AM and it was ruined. After 5 minutes the alarm was still going off. I called the front desk and they dealt with the situation within 5 minutes.

Hotel is easy to find at the entrance to the townsite, with easy and plentiful parking. Very pleasant and helpful front staff. Quiet room with easy walking access to local restaurants, including a new Starbucks next door. Recently updated bathroom and direct walk-out access was appreciated for heavy luggage. Room was more spacious than a typical 2-bed hotel room.

While the bathroom was recently updated, the main sleeping area probably could be updated. Price seemed a bit high for early June ($300/night) but I guess that is the market rate for a weekend in Jasper these days.

From checking in at the front desk with Kenneth, who was personable and helpful. The room was fresh smelling, clean, crisp sheets on very comfortable mattresses, nicely arranged, comfortable barrel chairs around a conveniently accessible table, in front of a window that let in lots of light. The bathroom was spotless, huge two person glassed in shower, large towels for after shower use. We enjoyed our peaceful, quiet time at the Marmot.

My husband and I are young seniors, but we found the toilet was low. Replacing the toilet with a comfort height toilet would be so much more accommodating for those of us with cranky knees. The fridge could have been a little larger on the inside for easier storage of items that we had with us that needed to be kept cold.

The room although facing the main road and train line was quiet. It was fascinating to watch the 100/200 carriage goods train slowly pass on the way to Vancouver or Edmonton. The position was great and easy walk down the main street to grocery market and restaurants. Staff were excellent and able to supply paper bowls and plates and plastic cutlery for in room breakfast. WiFi was good and easy to log on The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean.

I would have liked a grab rail to get out of the shower.

Service was excellent and the staff were so welcoming and pleasant. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Can't ask anything more with how Serge and one of the staff at front desk for taking care of us. Thank you so much.

We liked everything. Just an additional microwave oven in the room would be awesome! And again I am so thankful for the front desk staff for reheating our meals using their microwave in their office. We really do appreciate that very much.

the room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. We liked the location, even though we could hear the occasional train quietly passing through town during the night. We enjoyed seeing the local herd of elk grazing nearby. Although we didn't use them, the hotel provided an indoor pool and hot tub.

The body wash in the shower was empty, but everything else was supplied. Excellent wifi.

The front desk staff were excellent - friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our rooms were upgraded which was lovely. The pool/hot tub/sauna facilities were great.

The rooms could do with a refresh - updated carpet and furnishings would make them brighter and more modern. I would have liked a firmer/more supportive pillow as I found the ones provided too soft.

Pool hot tub nice

Tv wasn’t working. Should make sure it’s ready when getting room ready. Automatic soap etc in tub looks great but just because it looks like there is shampoo etc it should be checked properly as shampoo and conditioner was virtually out!!!!

The bathroom looked newly renovated and liked the walk in shower. The beds were also fairly comfy and enjoyed the complimentary room upgrade.

The hot tub and pool are separate from the main building, and require going outside to access them, with the hot tub being open to the elements. This wouldn’t be much of an issue during the summer, but not ideal in the colder weather. The carpets were also a bit worn out and the door still uses an actual key instead of a card.
