Hampton Inn & Suites Red Deer

Not only was the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful; the breakfast room was large, bright and roomy (not buried and gloomy) but well supplied and attended to. The convenient distance to some nice restaurants and a lovely little park while also not being in a crowded and busy area made it very attractive to us.

Better...just two things...first, the special bathing stool was not in our disability room. Fortunately, we didn't need it but it should be replaced for someone else. Secondly, there should be a second armchair. It was a wonderfully roomy room and there could easily have been space for it. For two people, casual sitting was cramped. The office chair, however nice, does not replace a second armchair.

The breakfast was premium level. The pool and gym are open until midnight! We got late expecting missing the pool time and we were so gladly surprised that we could enjoy the hotub and swimming pool before bed. Breakfast is 6-10 am so we could sleep in longer and check out is a noon. Great ideas to create cliente satisfaction. The product in the bathroom are fantastic! And something I haven't found in any hotel in the same category excellent quality toilet paper!

All was great.

The checking was terrible. The clerk told me the room would be ready shortly, at 6:30 at night when checkout is 11 am, 7 and a half hours to clean the rooms? Half way through the booking she took a phone call and ignored me for 10 minutes while she was on the phone. When she finished I waited another 15 minutes while they were still cleaning the room, no apology, kept calling me boss. Totally unacceptable. I wont stay there again, although the room was lovely.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, excellent hot breakfast, enjoyed using pool and hot tub in the mornings. The coffee in the lobby is always so excellent!

A/C didn’t work the greatest- but could have been that I was on top floor and it around 30 degrees everyday. weak water pressure in shower, but at least it was always hot

The Staff was simply amazing and patient. I had made an error in my booking and they made sure it was all corrected and did all they could to help me.

The only thing that was not quite right was the location was just a little farther from my Family than I wanted to be. The room was so perfect for my needs and so very comfortable. I will defately stay here again

It was convenient for what we needed! It is a beautiful hotel! The breakfast they offered was lovely and hot! They offered cookies to us when we checked it! coffee was hot and ready for us anytime! I will always stay there when I’m in Red Deer!

The beds were not made very nice, sheets were longer on one side and the bedding was not smoothed out and wrinkled! There was no tea, sugar or coffee mate, or stir sticks!

Beds and pillows were super comfy, staff are extremely pleasant and go above and beyond, and breakfast had plenty of options. Staff did a good job replenishing despite it being a very busy morning.

Room right next to the elevator on the second floor was a bit noisy (could hear music downstairs from a party in the afternoon) but night was quiet.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The front desk stay were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the bed and linens were very nice. The layout of the room and the walk-in glass shower was really nice

The lack of updated technology with the tv. You arent able to stream things like Netflix/Disney plus from your mobile to the tv. Also charging a premium for better wifi is a little nickle and diming. Also requested additional towels and they never arrived

Very nice hotel with gym, pool and hot tub which after a long flight were very welcome. It was probably the poshest place we stayed on our trip to Canada and also the cheapest considering we had a King suite. Very good breakfast provided too.

Only gripe was not being able to open the room windows to let some fresh air in, the air con was too noisy to be able to leave on all night

Breakfast was great with great variety to choose from. The staff cleaned up right away so the wait time is minimal for a table. Coffee area also well.maintained and tidy Room size large and comfy. Bathroom ia the largest in any of our hotel experience for sure

Bed skirt on our king bed was lopsided but cleaner was working alone so may have been hard for her to lift mattress by herself to fix. Minor issue only
