Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Red Deer, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. I would definitely stay here again, we had a king suite and were the bedroom was (in the back) we couldn’t hear anything in the hallways. Great value for the cost.

I liked having a separate bedroom, it was very quiet. I also enjoyed having a bigger fridge as I had to pack lunched and snacks for the competition we were at.

We booked the king family suite which was huge! The pool and water slide were nice and had good opening hours.

We booked the king suite because it was supposed to have a double under single bunk bed but when we got here it was regular bunks. We improvised but a roll away bed was not available so our littlest one ended up sleeping on the floor despite having booked the room for 5 people. The staff were accommodating- bringing up lots of extra blankets and pillows for him and he didn’t seem to mind. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Very nice and very well kept. Pool was very clean and very fun. Staff was so friendly and helpful with everything.

I did not like that you can no longer keep the fan running on the air conditioning unit . But it did work just not the way I wanted it to

Great stay, comfortable, clean. Kind & friendly staff. The kids loved the pool & waterslide. Loved the food from the restaurant.

The restaurant staff almost didn’t honour what the hotel promised in regards to being able to order take out to our rooms since we didn’t have a vax passport. But the hotel staff at the front desk honoured what had been promised us and spoke with the restaurant staff to clear up the matter. Very happy with the receptionist!

The check in Personal were very friendly and polite. They helped get us into our room earlier then expected. Went above and beyond normal service.

My son slipped twice while walking, with sandals on, in the pool area. The water doesn’t drain very well and there was a lot of water on the upper deck.

Clean and modern hotel and rooms Good location right off highway Pool is immaculate, the right depth, good water slide and great for family Family suite with bunks was great

Would be good to have restaurant open on Sunday and Monday Bunk room would be more valuable if there was a door or even a curtain so that parents could stay up and watch tv etc after kids went to bed

Staff was friendly , when we asked for extra blankets , we had them within 10 min. Room was clean , we had lots of roomand the pull out couch bed was comfortable.

The toilet constantly ran and didnt flush properly...and that can be stressfull in a room shared by 4 people.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed having the full desk to work at, the sofa to lounge on in the evening, and the mini kitchenette area to prepare food & drinks. The water kettle was a definite bonus for me as I am a big tea drinker. The dinner that I got at the restaurant was delicious! All the staff were very helpful, and the hotel in general is modern and well taken care of.

The booking.com website made it sound as though breakfast was included with the accommodation fee, however upon arriving to check-in, I found out that breakfast was actually an extra fee, and then further found out that the restaurant wasn’t actually open for breakfast or lunch — only dinner. I was disappointed that this was not communicated more clearly & transparently, as I did actually factor the breakfast in to my decision.

Waterslide and hot tub were great. Convenient location to external dining, movie theater and downtown too.

Didn't know in advance that hotel restaurant is closed on Mondays. A bit of traffic noise, but to be expected based on location next to highway.

The staff were excellent from check in to check out. And the attention they gave to the meeting room - coffee, cleanliness, equipment - was AWESOME!!! Thank you Lorraine, Zach and all others!
