An absolutely amazing stay at Wisteria! It’s such a beautiful quaint cottage thoughtfully designed. Would love to see what the experience is like when the guest house is full as there are so many things encouraging collaboration like puzzles and board games which was so lovely! I fell in love with Steve, the cat who is so affectionate and playful. The owners are very kind and considerate and ensured I got there ok and gave me a map showing me how to go to different places. Loved the pops of colour throughout the cottage which gave me English countryside vibes. Will definitely come back and stay again :)

The little extra touches showed that the hosts cared about their guests. Some of these included the responsiveness of the hosts to requests/questions whether on line or on the premises itself, availability of vanity items in the bathroom, water in the room, the homemade delicious cookies, hot brewed coffee in the morning, granola bars & the great room is set up to be comfortable, especially providing puzzles, books etc.

Only con would be thin walls as we stayed in the main guest house. Maybe sound proofing may help.

From the moment we arrived, We were greeted with warm hospitality and friendly staff (Steve, their cat, was there to greet us too). The guesthouse is located in a quiet and serene neighbourhood, which was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the room had plenty of natural light. I appreciated the little touches like the complimentary tea and coffee, which made us feel welcome (Especially the Ayurvedic copper vessel for drinking water). Overall, I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There aren't any notable things to mention in which we were not satisfied with.

The lack of breakfast service at the guest-house or a near by coffee shop to purchase breakfast items. Since we arrived to the island by boat and docked at Salt Spring Marina we had no choice but to walk to the guest house late at night x2. The cabs were too slow or running late on the nights even though we had pre-booked our reservations. Fortunately, we came prepared with our flashlights and good walking shoes.

I had king size bed with four king size pillows and my own washroom with handheld shower. Plenty supplies of toiletries and towels. The highlight was the assorted cookies and coffee/tea station non-stop supplies. A small fridge for real milk and creamer. There are assortments of jigsaw puzzle which I entertained myself before going to bed.

Everything was provided for including maps and lists of restaurants as they don’t provide breakfast anymore and the host explained it honestly. The host gave brief description of the facility including the studios.

Wisteria has a great location on Salt Spring and is great place to stay for a few days. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed was cozy, and water provided in the room is a nice touch. We also loved the friendly guest house cat Steve and the freshly baked cookies each day. Coffee and tea provided was also appreciated.

We thought breakfast would be provided based on past reviews and photos and were disappointed this was no longer provided.

Host and staff were wonderful. Studio #1 room was very clean, homey, colorful, warm and comfortable. Shared private patio with Studio #2 was a nice touch. Great accomodations for solo traveller and my dog! Lovely gardens everywhere and good spaces to accommodate dog needs. Fresh delicious plums and apples on trees right outside door. Cookies and beverages in common area in main building appreciated.

Lovely guesthouse, close to town. Beautiful yard area and common area. Very comfortable and clean.

We are both allergic to cats and would be good to have a heads up for resident cat around. Despite not having the cat in the room, dander can still linger. We needed to go to the town pharmacy to buy anti-histamines whereas if we knew there's a cat, we would have brought our own supply from home.

the property was located off the main Ganges road in a quiet residential neighborhood. The suites were close together yet it was extremely quiet. Everyone respected the rules and each others privacy. Property had a common area that was there for your use if you so chose. Our suite had a deck off the room that lead out in to a quiet garden filled with lots if wonderful plants. Steve the cat would often mosey over to see how we were and come in for a short visit. The two course breakfasts were absolutely lovely! So nice that we even stayed for it on our second morning and forfeited the early ferry departure at Vesuvius. Which was less than a ten minute drive from this location as well. Hands down a 10/10 for Len and Bev.

We went for a weekend of R and R and that was the main theme at this location. Ultra quiet! Clean and conveniently located.

the property was absolutely beautiful, perfect to unplug and unwind like we had planned our trip for. the food was actually TO DIE FOR good (massive compliments to the chef). we didn’t know there was a cat on site which was possibly the best surprise. we were a perfect stroll from Ganges and our entire experience was a first. we do have plans to return!!

our washroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last tenants. both my partner and I have short hair and there was long black hair all over the washroom and shower.
