The location was perfect for us. We had come on the early Tsawwassen - Schwartz Bay ferry with our bicycles and we rode to Brentwood Bay and took the little ferry to Crofton, then rode to Maple Bay. It was a lovely ride, but hot and hilly too, so when we got to the B & B, we were delighted with the location and the lovely room. It was walking distance to the Lion Rampant Scottish pub for dinner, with a lovely view of Maple Bay. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was fabulous. A full delicious breakfast to fuel us for another day of cycling.

The breakfast was great and she even made us a pot of English Breakfast tea. We liked her garden and lovely to sit out there and watch the birds and the local possum. We particularly liked that it wasn’t smack bang in the middle of tourists hotels etc. It was nice and quiet.

Maybe a kettle so I could make a cup of tea during the day or evening. This is the only thing I can think of. Everything was great.

Sharon was a lovely host, very clean, nice breakfast and it was a lovely location. The deer in the garden was a lovely bonus. We all managed to get a good nights sleep.

The location wasnt within walking distance to facilities for our even meal, but Cowichan bay and the lovely restaurants there were only 15 minutes drive away.

Lovely location, and very inviting, clean and welcoming place to stay. As a nature lover and bird watcher, I was spoiled with loads of varieties of birds and several deer to photograph. Breakfast was always delicious and the coffee was excellent!! Our hosts were really accommodating and made our stay extra special. The bathrooms and shower were immaculate and it was such a great place to come back to after day tripping around the area.```

We needed a place to stay between Nanaimo and Vicoria, and this was perfect. We only stayed for 1 night, but it would have been worth to stay longer. This was exactly how you expect a perfect B&B, nice room with private entrance and very lovely interiour and super clean. The breakfast was the best we had in our 3 weeks US/Canada vacation, fresh fruit wiht yoghurt and pancakes and the hosts Sharon and Barry were so nice.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious….the house also has a beautiful garden where a deer family and hummingbird came visiting in the morning😍 Sharon and Berry were the perfect hosts, we really enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them a bit during breakfast! This was the best place where we stayed in our Canadian holiday.

Nothing, just wish we could have stayed longer

Clean and comfortable. we spent a lot of time watching the bird feeders having great time with all varieties of visiting birds. my husband was worried he couldn’t watch the NBA final because it was on US TV channel. Then he found the channel and that made his day. Breakfast was great. Sharon was very accommodating for our early departure the second morning and fixed something for us on the road. Thanks for all the comfort!

The breakfast was just right, a yogurt granola fruit bowl, followed by freshly made bacon, eggs, choice of toast. Coffee was hot and plentiful. Host is very friendly and interested in her guests. The bed linens are lovely. It suited our overnight needs perfectly, but some would find the room cramped for longer stays. As the name suggests, hummingbirds are easily sighted on the property!

Home away from home. If you're looking for a great place to stay, with the warmest and most personable service, best homemade breakfast possible and super convenient location, hummers heavens is your go to. Walking distance to the pub, restaurants and these amazing views, a different breakfast menu everyday (the pictures are only a 1 day breakfast, yes, you'll get spoiled!), and immaculate clean and recently renovated rooms. Thanks Sharon and Barry for such a memorable stay!

Sharon is a gracious and friendly hostess. The setting of her home is peaceful and serene. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and was delicious each day. The bed was very comfortable and the insuite coffee maker was very much appreciated. The shower is excellent!
