Bonniebrook Lodge

The location. It was calm and exactly what we were looking for. The stay was amazing.

There was no possibility to have breakfast or lunch at the lodge. It was complicated without car so it is not for those who don't like long walking. Bus is close, like 1.5 km, but it is up the hill. Dinner was delicious, but we were waiting 50 minutes to get it. But it was worth it 😊

Beautiful location right on the beach with a third floor balcony overlooking the water. Walking distance to a beach side park area. Well appointed room with everything we needed for our comfort and enjoyment!

For the price they could have provided the charcuterie board and a bottle of wine as pictured on their web page. They could also have served a breakfast tray or offered some selection.

The lodge was lovely & secluded. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked again later in the summer. We bought breakfast & ate it on the beach. The bed was super comfy & the bath was amazing. All in all it was a great place. We left a charger there on our second visit & the staff kindly kept it for me to pick up the next time I was passing a few weeks later. They were very helpful.

When we booked we thought there was a sofa bed but when we got there it was just a regular sofa which my daughter slept on. We took a sheet for our next visit to make it more comfortable. The coffee machine wasn’t near a plug but it was no hassle to move it to a socket to plug in

There are no breakfast facilities and the nearest coffee shop or bakery is a 10 minute drive away.

Absolutely stunning location! Room was very nice and had everything we needed.

Furniture was a bit dated and the rug and couch were positioned on a slant, which made the room look messy even though it was very clean. Bed mattress not very comfortable. Felt like an old, springy mattress that had a topper on it and I didn’t have the best sleep.

Nice room, balcony with good view, comfy bed, great restaurant downstairs - dinner only. Handy for drives along the coast.

No breakfast. Microwave and fridge in room but even if you did prepare or heat a meal nothing to eat with! Asked for crockery and cutlery and it was willingly provided. But why not just put it in the room?

Extremely clean, comfortable, beautiful location,I just was not crazy about the roads to get there they were lacking a little maintenance. I have stayed here 4 times, and I have loved it every time.

Almost everything - decor, furnishings, young man who carried our baggage up three flights of stairs, view.

No elevator. No lobby staff. No key dropoff on leaving - the lobby door was open, but when I went in, the intruder alarm went off.

Staff are really friendly, easy check-in, rooms are comfortable and clean. Chasters restaurant on site is fabulous and a must visit if you're in the area. The food is out of this world and our server, Lee, was fantastic. 10/10, we can't wait to go back!!

This place exceeded our expectations. The staff is very friendly room is very comfortable, and the location is awesome!
