Reasonable rates and a great location just off the side of the highway. The front staff were very knowledgeable and efficient. We were very pleased with the size of our room with a full size kitchenette. The fridge was full size and easily held all the food we were travelling with. There was also a nice countertop burner. We enjoyed a quiet relaxing stay in the comfortable beds and restaraunt on site served amazing food! it was obviously a very popular place to eat, because there was a steady flow of people picking up take out orders, and the lounge and restaraunt were both very busy.

The hot tub wasn’t ready to use when we got in from skiing, as they had recently filled it with fresh clean water. No fault of the hotel, just poor timing on our part.

ample parking for large vehicle. right next to airport runway, but this is a very small airport with small planes, so you will definitely not have a problem with airplane noise. beautiful views of mountains. restaurant is attached to hotel

Google maps shows the grocery store is right next to the hotel, it isn't. its a short car ride away. I can't think of too many other things that I could complain about. Nice place.

Front dest are very polite and friendly. We got the family suite room and it was spacious because we came with 2 more families and we share supper in our room. Breakfast are fresh and really good. Laundry, it is our first time getting a hotel with FREE, okay let me repeat, FREE LAUNDRY also add the detergents and drying sheets. It's all freeeeeee! The room view is just exceptional! mountain view is the best! I would like to give not just one but 5 thumbs to the hotel staffs and to let you know you guys are doing a great job!!

Clean and comfortable, doing the best they can amidst a staffing shortage. Front desk person very personable and friendly upon checkout. The others (checking and during) not so much. very convenient breakfast snack room, well stocked.

Lack of daily routine housekeeping, but understandable since there is a staffing crisis everywhere. We are not messy people, so not a big deal, since they would come in upon request.

-Neat there is a mini stove and full refrigerator in the room! -mountain view out east, without looking at buildings -kind & accommodating staff -thoughtful breakfast options. Would love to see whole wheat bread option 🙂

-no window in the hot tub room: could feel a bit like sitting in a closet -smell of marijuana as we entered -bedroom doors closed very loudly & sound could get through; we could hear people in the hallways easily as they passed. -dining area at breakfast was a bit unkept on the floors and counter tops when we went to eat, so cleaned our own area -Comment from our 16 year young who has 100% in English class: he noted on a few signs around the hotel were missing simple spaces or had improper punctuation, capitalization, indents, etc. He mentioned he was willing to help make them more professional and legible for an easier read if he were asked! Simple thing to make corrections on that would improve appearances for guests. 😉

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was very good. Having a restaurant right next door was a real bonus as the Kanata is located out of town. The mountain views are stunning. We are definitely planning to stay here again in the future.

Breakfast was excellent! Loved the selection, especially the Cinnamon French Toast & egg bites.

Outdoor decor could use a face-lift with nice plants and some western/mountain-theme artifacts.

I wasn’t sure going in but all I can say it was the best hotel experience on my ten day trip (with a new hotel each night.) Free laundry soap for use in the on-site washing machine - nice touch!

Wish there was more protein available at the free breakfast. The first room assigned to me had a heavy smoke smell but the Frontdesk associate took care of it immediately.

Our stay was short but great! Room was clean, staff was very friendly, and we were right next to the elevator but thankfully didn't hear any noise from it! We stayed in the triple queen room it was so great!! What a smart idea!!

The beds were super comfy, the breakfast was decent, and the restaurant attached served delicious food. Would stay again sometime.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be a staffing shortage at this time, which meant that rooms were not cleaned daily, but it was not a big deal really. Our only negative was whoever checked us in, treated us as though she hasn't been shown kindness in a while. I hope she is okay, but wow, that was a bit of an icy start to our vacation, made us feel like we were bad guests to have and we had just gotten there :( we were a few middle aged folks and young couple just looking to have a quiet, relaxing time. The other staff were very kind, though, and made the stay much more pleasant.
