A small amount of money bought a lot at this accommodation. A hot tub and pool for swimming, as well as an included breakfast with the budget room. Coffee and tea in the room, fridge and lots of storage. Great views of the river as well. We had concerns based on previous reviews, but Riverland exceeded expectations. The owner (whose name I did not catch) was lovely, friendly and very hospitable.

Warm pool and nice Jacuzzi tub after a day skiing at Harper and Saint peaks. Daly continental breakfast in the morning was nice before skiing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, even helping me arrange to get my goggles back from somebody who brought them down from the ski hill while I was away.

Everything was great

Did not have breakfast or dinner there. Location is not the easiest to get in and out of if you don’t know where you’re going but now that we know it will be ok. GPS helps. The fact it’s by a stream makes for pretty surroundings if your room is in the back..stream side. Seating area in back with bbqs etc would be neat in season...was not in use by anyone when we stayed.

Could have been cleaner...dusty on top of headboard. In fairness it is located by a river/stream and close to an industrial area. We would return. Considering location it was very quiet. We would book earlier next time to try get on main floor as steps can be taxing with hip and knee issues. They did not know as we had not advised when booking. For the price it was very acceptable and appeared to be full so others also must have found it ok also.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the river valley. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice. The pool was cold but the hot tub was beautifully warm. The room that the pool was in could use some work but both the pool and hot tub were clean.

I booked through Booking.com and paid way more than I should have. They charged me $176.81 including taxes and fees when I booked it less than a week before we arrived but when we checked online the day we were arriving it was offered for $111.00. If I would have booked it through the hotel website it would have been $126.90. I paid $50. extra by booking through Booking.com and the hotel couldn't change it because it was booked by a third party company. I learned my lesson.

We, love this 'stopover' for price, amenity and location. The staff have always been a positive here, with food suggestions and helpful service. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are well equipped, and the always working pool & hot-tubs are very welcome after a day on the road.

We did notice the level of maintenance/cleaning has dropped from past covid-19 visits here, especially at the pool/hot-tub and grounds ~ so they may be suffering from staff shortages .. and the previously 'included' breakfasts are sadly still missing in action.

Quiet property, nice rooms, some with balconies. Great view of the river and spots to sit outside if you want. Breakfast was ok, some fruit, toast cereals, sausage and eggs. Coffee was good enough.

A bit further from downtown than I expected, but a nice walk along the rivers trail to get to restaurants and summer parks.

Great proximity to the highway, rooms are comfy, staff are super friendly, above average breakfast available in the morning - appreciate that the manager gave me a room on the ground floor.

Location is not close to any places to eat, you need a car to go out for food, or just order in.

The room was clean and quiet once you shut the door as the location is close to a highway bridge across the Thompson river. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the river with great views of surrounding hills and countryside. The outdoor seating along the river was a great, relaxing area to drink a beverage and eat some snacks. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The outdoor tables and furniture needed a wipe down as they were pretty dusty.

The staff and the location are good. There is access to the swimming pool with a hot tub. Nice BBQ area with peaceful river view. Hot continental breakfast was a nice addition to our stay. Recommend for all types of travel.

The rooms are clean, but because of the age, the hotel could benefit from an upgrade.

We have stayed several times before, on the last trip 3 weeks ago I found the bed too hard for my back, mentioned this on check out, when I retuned this Friday they had asked the room staff about the beds and gave me the room the staff recommended, the bed was great, room was clean and worked well for us, as with my last review - nice clean room, good internet, ice available, good location & price, friendly staff with easy check in/out,

nothing I did not like but with the two of us a 2nd chair would be nice
