even though it says non-smoking the room did have that lingering smell. With putting on the air conditioner and opening the window (being that I was on the 2nd floor) the smell dissipated. -hole in the wall-from a previous customer. Would be difficult to repair due to the wall being covered with wallpaper but possibly they could cover/hide the damage with a framed picture. -just a suggestion- possibly have a kettle or small coffee maker in the room so that early morning coffee is available for those early bird risers.😊

The place is good for a short stay. My room was clean, big and has a fridge and a microwave. The bed was confy and the temperature of the room good. The breakfast is quite simple, but you got something to eat in the morning for a reasonable price. There is fresh hot coffe all day and they let me check put an hour late with no extra charge.

The one use plastic stuff for the breakfast. I am very concious about minding our planet.

Once you get over the initial impact of the visuals of this place, it is really quite OK. The bed is very comfortable, everything in the room works well (even if it looks a bit old & tired). Staff are welcoming & helpful, breakfast is basic but OK to kick start your day.

Being across the highway from the train yard does cause a few noises one could do without, but nothing that is going to stop us visiting again in the future.

Very convenient location off TransCanada 1 in Kamloops, plenty of parking. Staff were really friendly upon check-in. Room was extremely spacious. A/C functioned really well (especially when arrived on hot day in BC). Otherwise, standard room layout. Didn't use amenities when there. Simplistic complementary breakfast.

Washroom had a hole against the wall for knob position, not sure if this was intended or damage and left there.

People smoking just outside their rooms on the sidewalk. Carpets definitely need to be replaced. If you look under the top mattress there is a box spring with a cover. It needs to be taken off and washed. There is hair and pubic hair and very dirty.

Had a very pleasant 3-night stay for a great price. Check in was quick. Room was small but nicely furnished, wifi worked great. Surprisingly quiet inside for being next to the highway. I'd definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and modern except for the carpet...needs new flooring. No coffee maker in room. There's coffee in the lobby but most places let you make your own.

I would rather have had some eggs and bacon. It would’ve been nice if there was a buffet there. Glad there was fresh coffee. Bagels and cream cheese would be great and perhaps some fruit maybe some donuts. Cereal and frozen waffles wasn’t enough. Thankyou for the yogurt that was good!

To have fruit and more options.

Very friendly and accommodating staff.Very kind owner, she took care of us like a great host. We were traveling from Calgary, and they upgraded our room without any charge. We had a great night stay, woke up fresh, and had a free breakfast before heading to our next destination to Whistler. .

Strategic location and the value. Staff are very friendly and approacheable, like living at your own house. It is clean as well.

The floor is squeaky and if somebody smoking at balcony, smoke is coming in due to weather strip has gap.

Would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Instead, you have to wait until 7:30am when they open for breakfast, which I think is later than most other motels, as many people like to hit the road by then.
