Country View Motor Inn

Super location. Spacious rooms and well maintained property. Wow the hot tub was fabulous. Check-in was easy. There was a minor housekeeping issue with my room but the afternoon front desk young gentlemen was so accommodating. We were promplty reassigned to another beautiful room and assured that matters were dealt with. Quiet. Lots of convenient food options nearby. Great parking. A sister property assures guests a good chance of access to at least one pool or hot tub.

As can happen anywhere, there was a simple housekeeping oversight during a busy season. It was resolved so quick and professionally, I hesitate to even mention it.

The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating. Upon arrival it was super hot in our room and eventually we figured out that the heater on the floor was on, wouldn’t turn off and was fighting against the a/c. Management moved us rooms right away no questions asked. Our stay was awesome!! Would absolutely return to this hotel.

The swimming pool was out of order due to a pump failure which was completely out of the staffs control.

The beds were comfortable, clean and a/c worked really well.

First of all the phone didn’t work and no one did anything about it. The office is supposed to be open at 8 am we were there to check out shortly after they were not open..we rang their intercom and after awhile they answered but did not open we told them we wanted a paper copy of our charges they said they would email them. By 11 o clock no email I phoned and they said they are very busy but said it would be done by 2 pm. We checked again at 5 pm still nothing . After calling again they finally sent it with an extra pet charge on it and stating with all the fires they are overwhelmed I said us to we are surrounded by the fires !! Very unorganized ..office should be open when hours are posted ! Concerns were finally addressed and extra pet charge reversed.

loved being able to sit outside at a table with my coffee & notepad for my ZOOM meeting.

not a huge concern currently but there is only 1 handicap parking spot & it’s a fair distance from 1 wing. most people would not see this as agreat distance but when walking requires extra energy, steps count. However, , parking is at a bit of a premium at this site so it makes it hard to designate another spot for handicapped parking.

We stayed for one night on our way from Edmonton to Vancouver. Overall, it's a decent and affordable motel. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. We liked the location.

Our room didn't have any chairs. I needed to get some work done, so the armchair with a laptop on my lap was the only option. Eating while standing also wasn't perfect. So, having at least one chair in the room would be highly appreciated.

Staff very friendly and property was nice. Large room very spacious. Clean.The staff, price, and size of room made up for the shabbiness of the old furnishings.

Very old, shabby room in appearance but clean. Beds were old and hard. Pillows had seen better days.

The room was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. I appreciated that the cups provided with the coffee maker were reusable & not disposable.

I do not have anything to criticize about this hotel. It's a great place to stay in a convenient location.

Clean and pleasant motel, right on the Trans-Can, easy to find. Friendly staff, maps of area available in lobby, decent amenities in room. Free wifi., free parking. Excellent stay for value price.

Some background noise due to location beside highway and railroad.

The staff was excellent They even let us use the hot tub after closing because we got back late from a function!

Would have really liked the breakfast area to be open as we expected since it was listed in the Booking.com ad

no pool and hot tub access was difficult. also I asked the manager if I could check in early. he said the room was t ready so I sat in my car and waited 3 hours and not one of the staff came to clean my room. when I checked in my room had been cleaned before I arrived.
