We were greeted with lots of smiles from the staff and we had an excellent stay. We asked for an upgrade as it was our wedding night but this hotel only has standard rooms. They are very nice so no worries there. Since they couldn't do that they did offer complimentary breakfast and they arrived at our room with balloons, a nice bottle of wine and snacks. It was very nice. The beds are so comfy and the facilities are great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The bed. Clean, comfy, great pillows. Slept like a baby. Had a fridge. Had a table that moved around. Hot water. Great front desk staff. Air conditioning. Close by ice machine. They supplied shampoo and good thing because I didn't bring any.

To point put: We couldn't figure out why there were no plugs to charge your phone. Beside the beds? By the night table. We looked and looked. The next morning I grab the TV remote. It was laying over the outlets. Oops.

Great location, staff were very responsive and pleasant

I waited for a very long time to get my supper Saturday night. Errors were made so not all of my food arrived at the same time and we had to go down a couple times to check the status.

Best location is close to the cinema, shopping center, and restaurants. Good parking. Was a good option to visit Halifax downtown. Clean rooms and comfortable.

Clean the facilities when children are using the pool, all the floor was wet and dirty including elevators

Great location with Starbucks on-site an Tim's and McDonalds outside the front entrance. Local restaurants minutes away. Spacious clean rooms where the staff is attentive to all requests. Kids loved the free wifi and pool with a waterside. And all for a comparably budget price.

The rooms were very spacious and lots of modern features pull out table is a fantastic idea. The service at the front desk, I believe her name was Chris, was phenomenal she was very friendly and helpful. Pool area was a nice extra feature to have.

We did notice that areas in the hallways and elevator waiting areas could use dusting as you could write your name on the tables. We waited for the hot tub for over 30 minutes and even though there was a sign posted by it to limit time to 15 mins and one family bubble allowed in at a time there were people in there the whole time and others kept joining them. That was disappointing.

It was clean and up to date decor. Can’t go wrong with the location. Everything you need is within walking distance or a short drive.

Bar hours on a Saturday night. At 1030pm on a Saturday evening the bar was closed. At least 11 or midnight would work.

Great facilities, super clean and the staff was very friendly. Kudos for all the safety measures in place! We travelled as a couple, but saw a lot of families, so it’s a place that can accommodate all kind of travellers. Location is perfect, close to the bridges to go to Halifax, and across from shopping outlets!

This is more of a warning note, as we loved our stay and fully understand the reasons for the safety measures in place. There are only two elevators, and 8 floors. Unfortunately, due to COVID, there’s only one family or bubble allowed by elevator. Also, complimentary breakfast is served by individual/family and not buffet style. Both situations resulted in long waiting lines from time to time. On the bright side, you get to meet nice people while you’re waiting.

Although I did not partake of breakfast or the other amenities offered in the bistro, I did take a look around. The bistro is conveniently located, well-appointed, the staff responsive and pleasant, and the food looked fresh and appetizing. The hotel itself is outstandingly clean and tastefully decorated. The amenities in our room were first rate; I was particularly impressed with the loveseat (in lieu of a chair) in our relatively spacious king bed room.

Something should be done about the threshold between the bathroom and bedroom before someone (seniors or the infirm) suffer a severe injury. As I had received no warning of the (approximately) 1/2 inch marble threshold, I wrenched my ankle and hurt my arm when I attempted to stop myself from falling as I stumbled over this threshold. Perhaps at check-in people could be advised of this hazard, or a notice posted on the bathroom door?
