We've stayed here before and will again, whenever we go big city shopping or fly out of Halifax. It's close to all we want and has many restaurants and other services a short walk away. The front desk clerk was friendly and very helpful. We were there in the winter (both times) and the temperature in the room was easy to adjust.

It's hard to think of what was wrong with the room. It certainly wasn't classy or would it ever win a prize for great decor. I don't think there was a stand for opening one's suitcase, but there might have been.

My wife and I recently traveled from Ontario to Newfoundland in an electric vehicle, staying at economy motels such as yours, along the way. We were rather disappointed that no economy motels provided overnight EV charging. I would highly recommend that economy motel owners consider installing Level 2 240 volt EV chargers of approximately 30-40 amp capacity connected to a network such as FLO or Chargepoint. The network would collect the cost through their network RFID card or app to compensate the motel owner. A reasonable charge of about $1.50/hr. would be much more attractive to me, then staying at a luxury motel and paying $50 to $100 more per night and receiving “free” charging for approximately $10 worth of EV charging.

Perfect stay for a night as a solo traveler. Nice and helpful staff, the room was clean, the full structure is monitored by cameras, even the parking. No smoking in front of the rooms. Laundry room is accessible for guests from 8 to 6 (washing machine and drier operating with 2$ coins). You can reach Halifax city centre in half hour by bus n.10, stop is few steps away (ticket on board is 2.75$ coins only - no change given).

I would add in the Booking profile that there is a 100$ deposit, so that people are aware.

The staff at the front desk was friendly and quick with the check in process. The room was nicely updated, comfortable, and clean, and the tub in the bathroom was great. It wasn't fancy, but it was definitely worth the price.

The outside of the motel, and the people (likely long term residents) hanging out in the parking area were slightly off putting. But it was only aesthetics, everyone was friendly.

The staff were friendly, the maids cleaning was excellent!! The location was ideal.

The comforters need replacing, mine has a hole in it and my daughter's felt like a piece of foam. A coffee maker would have been nice as well. And the inside of the microwave (top) was dirty.

The shower curtain was dirty at the bottom, and the mattress felt like your head was on a decline. However, this was rectified by sleeping with your head at the foot of the bed. I felt more level

I like the room infrastructure and specially big window so good airy room.

There were only coffee packs no tea as if I drink tea in the morning

The question here asked me how I liked the breakfast, of which there was none. This place was exceptionally clean. Everything seemed newly-renovated in a very nice and classy way: none of that typical motel decor - it seemed more like a real house. The bathtub was great. The towels were nice. there was a mini-fridge. wifi worked.

It looks like from the movies! You can easily park your car here and there is all you need! AC/Fridge/Microwave! I would recommend them?
